What a day. Aaron Rodgers officially signed his contract extension and in doing so became the highest paid player in NFL history. Meanwhile Brian Gutekunst stayed busy by dealing backup quarterback Brett Hundley to the Seattle Seahawks; thereby promoting DeShone Kizer to the backup quarterback position. -- There's no shortage of versatility along the Green Bay Packers' offensive line, and that's a testament to position coach James Campen.

It's too early to tell for sure, but rookies Josh Jackson and Jaire Alexander look like the real deal.

-- It was fairly obvious that Trevor Davis' best odds at making the Green Bay Packers' opening day roster were going to run through his ability on...

Join Ross and Jake for episode 34 of the Pack-A-Day Podcast.

After looking utterly confused and bewildered starting nine games last year, Brett Hundley has played with a noticeable chip on his shoulder in camp.

-- The prognosis on linebacker Oren Burks -- so far -- is a good one.

-- The weekend wouldn't be complete without Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst completing a trade, apparently.
