What a day. Aaron Rodgers officially signed his contract extension and in doing so became the highest paid player in NFL history. Meanwhile Brian Gutekunst stayed busy by dealing backup quarterback Brett Hundley to the Seattle Seahawks; thereby promoting DeShone Kizer to the backup quarterback position. News also broke that the Packers intend to keep Tim Boyle on the 53 man roster when camp breaks. With the final preseason games falling tomorrow night and roster cuts coming on Saturday, the teams around the NFC North are getting prepared for their week one matchup.

The Packers will head into 2018 with Deshoine Kizer as the primary backup to Aaron Rodgers.
