- "Non Power-5 Hidden Gems" - NFL Draft Analyst Rob Reger identifies potential smaller-school draft "sleepers" to keep an eye on.
- "They Won't Be Packers" - Packers Draftnik Brian Maafi of ATB Network tells you about some players the Packers SHOULD NOT draft and why.
Remember, we bring you quality Packers content every day on our website for free. We charge for this guide so that we can pay the staff that puts so many hours into this effort. Even if you are not a big NFL Draft person, I hope you'll pick up a copy as a way of saying "thank you for all you do" to our writers. Think of it as buying us a 12-pack of beer.
OK, enough pleading... Still not convinced? Here is a special preview version of last year's guide in it's entirety for you to view (click the full screen icon for easier viewing). We're confident you'll love it.

Just ordered and have started getting into my CHTV Draft Guide a bit this morning before work. Al and the rest of the staff who help put this together every year do an outstanding job.
If you're a Packers fan, this is always a really fun read. Can't give it enough "Thumbs Up".
Thank you Al and the rest of the CHTV Draft Guide staff!

Just signed up for it, Al. Can't wait to start to dig into it. Only while I'm working. Not like Nick up above that does it before work. LOL.
I'm a semi-retired quality control manager (means I try to only work 40 hours a week) so it's a good thing when I'm not too busy. Just have to keep up with the endless documentation.
One of my inspectors is a Chiefs' fan and I showed him the guide last year after the draft. He looked and couldn't find anything like it around his Chiefs sites and asked if I could send him this season's. I don't know if I can, but I told him it's only $17 go on the site and buy it. You don't have trouble selling to Chiefs' fans do you Al? Maybe a possible convert? Doubt it since they've kind of been showing up in allot of championship games lately.

Form Al's forward, "We did have a couple of entertaining years in 1983–1984 when Lynn Dickey was heaving the football downfield to James Lofton, John Jefferson and Paul Coffman, but even then, the best record they could muster was 8–8."
They scored in 2 or 3 plays and left the D on the field the whole game.
Those were the best of times, Al. I was working in a shipyard in Sturgeon Bay at the time and all the people I golfed with held season tickets. Because they weren't winning and especially when it got cold, they gave away their tickets. Got to see allot of games and take my father while my Mom Christmas shopped in the "Big City".
That's how I was able to go to the 1st Monday Night Football game at Lambo. Bet now all those tickets get sold online and us non-ticket holders have to squirm and scramble to get them. Easier to go to away games now.

I've logged in, but am told I need to join something called Patreon which means a new password, etc and another link/site to be concerned about. I've purchased the guide for several years and will miss it, but I don't understand this new order situation.

Wherever you ordered from in the past, you needed to create an account. No difference here. We've found Patreon to be the most seamless and reliable method to get the guide in people's hands .You'll only need the account to order the guide. After that, you can forget about it. (until next year! )

Love the Draft Guide! I really appreciate all of the obvious effort/time/energy/love/stress/passion that went into publishing this for us FANS! Thank you!
A critique this year, outside of some stylistic changes from years past, which I'll say is just a matter of taste, I do think not enough ink was spilled honing in on who, realistically, Gutey and Co might choose. In fact, your First Round pick (KGrant) and 3rd Rounder were both on your "They Won't Be Packers" list kicking off The Guide. With that said, I certainly don't mind the picks in your Mock Draft; I would be quite content. And as I said earlier in the ramble, love and appreciate The Guide guys! Thank you! and as always...GPG!

That's just a case of two different people with two different opinions. The 'They Won't Be Packers" article is based primarily on historical measurables/athletic testing of past draft picks. I'm not as stringently tied into that, so for my mock draft, I was willing to believe Gutey is capable of occasionally straying from his norms for the right players.
Thank you for the comments and for purchasing the guide. Your support is definitely appreciated!

Thank you for the reply! I like that you hope Gutey will draw from a larger pool than players with high RAS as the greatest attribute. I am not complaining (much); there have only been a couple of times when picks have made me go, Hmmm. Usually, it isn't the player; it is the placement and/or the giving away of draft picks to move up.
Honestly, I think Kenneth Grant can do precisely what you say for our team. In fact, not only do I like your Mock, I like the alternates and like the positions you focused on :)
Thank you again for your reply, and thank you for all!
