It's that time of year once again!
With the 2024 training camp just days away, it's time to submit your responses to my annual poll for fan expectations for the team. This is the seventh year I've done this poll. We had over 1000 participants last year. Let's get a record number of participants yet again!
The questions stay mostly the same (with a few exceptions) every year, but the responses are always different and provide some good insight into the general mood of the fanbase heading into the new season.

The link leads to the 2023 poll. I would just do it, but the list of opponents is off. I don’t know if the Eagles are the toughest team, but a game in Brazil is going to be a challenge on several levels.

WRONG LINK. As barutanseijin noted, it's for 2023, not 2024. I looked at last year's responses, and nine wins was the most popular number, which turned out to be correct. So hooray for us, although I guessed 10.

I went with high expectations because it's the only way for a fan to be at the start of camp. Just think if you were a Bears fan and weren't excited before the start to the season. When else could you be excited?
Last season most of us hedged our expectations, however I believe LH and I were some of the few that thought they'd make the playoffs. I thought it would be by winning the division though because I didn't think we'd be able to get a wildcard and thought the NFC West and East would have teams better records
I had to say no to the question "will we beat the Bears in week one" because we don't play them week one and it might have been a trick question or as noted above by barutaneijin, Tim forgot to edit that question from last season. Otherwise, it was all go for the Packers.
The game schedule was old too, but I picked the Lions for our toughest because any season it's always a division game that will be the most important.

My expectation is the same as it always is at this time of year. Winning the Super Bowl in a complete wipeout victory.
I don't think it's nearly as irrational this year as it sometimes has been in seasons past. I'm very confident about the coming season and beyond. It's looking good so far.

My expectations for the GBP in 2024: provide me with a great deal of entertainment that distracts me from life bullshit for a couple of hours every week for a few months. It will be great if every week they prove they're a competitor and a real threat to stake a claim for the title. I expect them to continue to improve and be a more complete team in week 17 than they were in week 1. Everything else is bonus material.

Win the division. Beat your division opponents. Those are the six most important games of the season. The three at home are the MOST important games of the regular season.
