Packers vs. Vikings Game Predictions from CheeseheadTV.com

 GAME PREDICTIONS Week 11

Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings

Name Record   Pick Prediction
Nagler 6-3 Minnesota Vikings 27-21
I picked the Packers to lose this game during the summer and I still think that's going to be the case. Mike Zimmer has his team playing well, they're at home and they have a rejuvenated Adrian Peterson. The Packers don't break out of their funk just yet.
Czech 6-3 Green Bay Packers 23-20
Can the Packers somehow, some way, get to 21 points? Because I'm not sure that the Vikings can. Everyone has their Packers season towel ready to throw into the ring if things get ugly in Minnesota. Don't toss that towel yet, folks. Get ready to wave it in celebration because there's still life on this team.
Bracco 6-3 Green Bay Packers 19-17
If the Packers weren't so banged up, I would actually feel very confident they turn things around here. As it is, I'm still going to pick them to squeak by the Vikes as Rodgers should have a sufficently large enough chip on his sore shoulder now (after all of this week's drama).
Tallitsch 7-2 abstain xx-xx
In an attempt to change the Packers' luck, Alex takes one for the team (automatic L) in hopes it turns the Packers' fortunes around.
Garda 6-3 Minnesota Vikings 24-17
I promised Green Bay followers I would stop picking the Packers since it seems like every week when I do that now, they lose. This is a tough game to do that with though, given how desperate things are. Kidding aside,  the Packers don't look right on either side of the ball and while they have overcome defensive or defensive issues before, they can't overcome both. They are going to see a lot of Adrian Peterson whom I don't see them slowing down much and offensively I just see the Packers getting away from the short, quick offense they excel at. I think they'll make a go of it, and I could be wrong, but I think we're about to see a four game losing streak from the Packers.
Behnke 6-3 Green Bay Packers 60-0
Packers roll.
Jennerjohn 7-2 Minnesota Vikings 27-23
The Packers have looked dreadful as of late. Even if Aaron Rodgers and the offense get back on track, I don't see the defense corralling Adrian Peterson.
Perone 7-2 Minnesota Vikings 40-0
Honestly, does the score matter?  The Vikings get the Packers at a good time and at home.  Minnesota is pumped up and ready to take a firm hold on the NFC North.  Adrian Peterson lurks and the Packers aren't tackling especially well.  Then there's the Packers offense.  The Vikings can get a push up front so this week gets no easier for Aaron Rodgers and an offensive line that looks to be featuring Don Barclay at left tackle.  It doesn't appear to be in the cards for Green Bay this week.
Snowden 6-3 Green Bay Packers 24-21
My heart won't let me pick a Packers loss here and my brain after watching Teddy Bridgewater play a couple of games this season won't let me pick a loss either. It won't be pretty. It won't be fun. But if Rodgers can play even just a little better than he did last week, the Packers will win.
Albrecht 6-3 Minnesota Vikings 14-10
The Packers are the better team but they aren't showing it.  Momentum is the key.  The Vikings have it the Packers do not.
Reuter 5-4 Green Bay Packers 23-20
My gut says the Packers lose this game because they have looked so bad on offense this year and really poor on defense in 2 of the last 3. I have watched almost all of the Vikings games this year and I have been less than impressed pretty much every game, but despite looking not good in most of their games they're winning, no matter how ugly it is. Which cannot be ignored. That being said I just don't see Aaron Rodgers allowing them to lose this game. If Lacy is healthy, I expect a surprisingly good game from him - even if he's not the starter he will be the finisher. I'm going against my gut feelings and going with my head.
Olson 7-2 Minnesota Vikings 24-17
It is hard to believe that the Packers may lose four straight, but at this point, it really would not be logical to pick the Packers to win at Minnesota. The Packers offense will struggle against the Vikings defense.
Hobbes 6-3 Green Bay Packers 17-10
At this point I'm going to admit I have no idea which Packers team is going to show up; they should destroy the Vikings in much of the same way the Packers should have destroyed the Lions. This game literally might decide the Packers playoff chances and they know it
Strupp 5-4 Minnesota Vikings 21-20
Right now, the Packers are the lesser team until we're shown otherwise.
Kruse 6-3 Green Bay Packers 23-20
There's really no realistic reason to pick the Packers on the road against a team playing swarming defense and efficient, run-first offense. I'm still picking Aaron Rodgers over realism. The bounce back is coming.

I have the Vikes by 24. The Packs score 10 at best and more like 6.

You're picking the Vikings to win by 24 points? I think that's a bit much considering Bridgewater doesn't look like the second coming of anyone yet as most suggested he would. The again, Mike McCarthys coaching staff is like the blind leading the blind.

My head says Minny wins. As the week has gone on, I've started to feel more and more that this team is angry - and especially Rodgers. That doesn't bode well for the Vikes.

That about sums it up. Which Packer team is going to show up? We shall see. Hope it's one hungry pissed off bunch. Stranger things have happened. I am trying to be optimistic. GO PACK GO

Vikings get this one in dominant fashion. I'm seeing a 27-7 score going into the fourth qtr. that 7 comes from the packers opening drive. The final though will be 27-21 as our team decides to start playing with 5 minutes left in the game. Final packers offensive play: sack.

As much as I hate to say it, I see absolutely no reason for optimism this week.

Sure, the turnaround we all hope for could come this week but I doubt it. I hope I'm wrong but the eye test and honest appraisal of the situation gives me no reason to count on the Packers.

After getting punched in the mouth by the Broncos (who have lost two in a row since btw) and an embarrassing first half in Carolina, the turnaround should have come last week at home against a 1-7 team with a statistically poor defense.

If we couldn't get it on track then why should I think our myriad of problems is suddenly going to get fixed on the road against a solid team?

Vikings by at least a touchdown.

And one last thing: if this isn't the week to chuck the ball downfield at least a couple of teams to the one WR on the team with legitimate deep threat speed, I don't know what is. I don't care who Rodgers trusts or doesn't trust or if he thinks Janis is the devil, it is way past time to give this kid an opportunity.
