The Hand placement comments worry me- This was eerily similar to Jason Spriggs whom GB traded up for in RD 2 some years ago! He also busted spectacularly at Tackle and Guard

I don't see Barton playing T in the NFL except for emergency situations and I don't think there's much value in drafting iOL in the 1st round but I'd rather see them draft him than Mims or Guyton.

Watched NFL-net's latest mock this a.m. They had the first LB off the board taken at 25! Payton Wilson! At least someone can see the Pack's greatest need and acting to find the greatest LB in the draft. The number one pick should be the best playmaker they can find. Period. Moreover. I'm tired of hearing all the crybabies whining about his medical past. He has played great the last two seasons without injury. And, was cleared by the university physicians both of those seasons. So, unless you are a medical doctor stop pretending to know something you don't know anything about. I am sure the Packers have their own medical staff to advise before they pick. Watch the Bears draft him right after we pass on him. Then you'll be crying in your beer.

I also lean toward a playmaker or difference maker in the first round, rather than OL. That could be Wilson or possibly Edgerrin Cooper or a CB. The playmaker needs to be on defense, as our defense is lacking in that area. I have confidence in Gute not overdrafting, at least not by too much. So if these top LBs are not worth picking that high, he won't do it.
