I used to think mainstream media only colluded on politics, but welcome to this new age where 'Destroy Aaron Rodgers' mantra seems to be in full affect, again. First, the 2021 Summer of Lies, then Hub Arkush and now Boomer Esiason have continued the crap. Can't we all just get along?

Media constantly trying to sensationalize everything. Just ridiculous!

While AR constantly loves media attention he also knows boycotting the SB would ruin his career/reputation that he has worked so hard on creating and he had better plan on retirement. Believe Rodgers has plans to be in the broadcast booth after retirement aka Troy Aikman and a stunt like this would never set well. Plus, for Rodgers winning a 2nd SB is important for consideration amongst the all-time great QB's of all time.

I think he's already squarely in that conversation without winning another game, but of course, he wants to win.
This whole "story" is just bizarre, and I wish AR wouldn't even dignify it.

It's not really a blame-the-media thing, as there are thousands of networks, stations, blogs, etc. But yes, not all or many have journalistic ethics.
