A comprehensive take down of significant leadership competencies across the board.
It is beyond ludicrous that those people, without exception, had their contracts renewed this off season.

More emphasically, I think player development evaluation and the resultant utilization re: our O line has been poor for at least several years. Good to great players haven't been "misses," those would be hard to get wrong. Neither do I see evidence that our coaching staff did anything significant to help those individuals improve; some people are just GOOD! (Or great)
How much this might be true of other position groups I'm not sure, but it stands to reason that it's not materially different on our D line. I think our LB room did better under Campanile and suffered due to his loss this past season; therefore needing to replace this position coach is no great loss IMHO. I'm trying to become a blank slate for the upcoming season as that's the best I could muster, which could include being pleasantly surprised by all our new coaches.

Why there still holding on to Gute beats me.... Horrible drafting and poor free agent acquisitions. It won't change until he is gone...

This idea goes beyond question. Sealing another deal with this guy and the cheerleader, will not get you to the Promised Land. The cult does not question authority.

Andy has it all wrong.
Whatever the 9-8-1 record and product on the field, Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst absolutely SUCCEEDED where it matters most in Green Bay — pleasing their bosses, and as such they both received multi-year extensions with presumably handsome increases in their respective compensation.
Stop analyzing FAILURE through the prism of winning NFC North Division Titles (let alone Super Bowl appearances) and you will better understand why 2025 was yet another SUCCESS for MLF, Gutey, and the rest of the GB Packer organization.

Andy, you absolutely DO need to talk about Mecole Hardman and Isaiah Simmons. Both made plays in big games, and we very obviously needed more of those. Ok Hardman's early TD catch was offset by his crucial drop late in the game. Neither was Simmons so crucial as to be a "star of the game," but he played a both a position and role of need for GB and neither were expensive.
This is significant because it increases the FA misses this season from 2 to 4.

I just don't see the point in litigating these two. They had their auditions and neither distinguished themselves. You gotta make a call.

It's difficult to assess how much of the problems were flat out due to Gutey's acquisitions vs him being out of step with MLF. If everyone on the roster were developed consistent with the "draft and develop" philosophy, everything would be very different. And even that would not automatically correct the failures of evaluation and utilization.
The WR was (at least) one of the smallest problems in this regard, and #0 was criminally under utilized. Why? Was it due to his own erroneous or inconsistent route running? JL10 not looking for him almost every time he was wide open? MLF not calling plays to feature him seems like the smallest of these categories since every play has built in QB discretion, but even all this in combination is a smaller contributor to failure than any of the other problems.
I do think Savion Williams can become a long term major contributor, and not using him much this season wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Him and #9 both at 6'4" whether on the field at the same time or alternating can be used to give opposing defenses fits; just one of many packages at MLF's disposal. Hopefully he exploits all of them masterfully ...

Personally I find it hard to tell how good MLF is because we have an average GM. 8 years of Gute was already several years too many. Now we extended him.

First, the FA picks were not only not signing someone who could really help us, but overpaying them to a point taht it handcuffed us in 2025 and will in 2026 again. And we still don't have a good OG in Banks, and we sure didn't replace let alone upgrade from losing Alexander. So a year later we still have the same big needs at DT, OL, & CB. And nothing but fewer draft picks to address them.
The draft class was also a disaster. The big theme before the draft was how many years has it been since GB drafted a WR in the first round. Who cares? My draft plan was simple. If a great player doesn't fall in our lap @ #22, at one of our positions of greatist need which was and still are DT & CB, then find a team to trade back with and start our draft at the end of the first or early 2nd rounds. Gladly take the extra draft ammo to fill as many needs as possible in the 1st 3 rounds with 4 picks. This plan made even more sense after the Top 4 DT were gone before #22.
I wouldn't have but we still could have picked a WR, maybe even Golden. Definately Jaydin Higgins, Luther Burden, Tre Harris, & Jack Bech all available. Better yet would have been to select a CB, Hairston, Ben Morrison, Trey Amos all there still. Fix a big problem.
Anthony Belton was never predicted to be a 2nd round pick. We overdrafted him bigtime. Tre Amos, Darrien Porter, Azareyeh Thomas, Shavon Revel, Nohl Williams and more were all sitting there @ #54. We should have filled the biggest need there and picked OL in the 3rd round. Iowa State OT Jalen Travis was easily as good as Belton and still on the board after we picked Sorrell in the 4th round.
It's not about hindsight, every year is the same, wasted draft picks in the crucial, early rounds. Never filling the actual biggest needs except with token picks in the later rounds, doomed to fail because it's so hit or likely miss there.
This was preceded last year by the 2 terrible FA acquisitions. There I would have signed Brandon Scherff-OG to a 2 year $6 million per year contract. He was still playing at a high level and was very reliable. Then take the money we saved on OG, and add $4 million to what we paid Hobbs, and bought a real solid, OUTSIDE CB to replace Alexander. Like Adebo. Then add 2 solid CB in the draft and we don't have the black hole that we have in the CB room now.
With the money saved @ OG I would have bought a solid FA veteran TE, because already I could see the potential big hole behind Kraft. GB was betting Kraft would get thru the year with no injuries and they lost. Musgrave isn't the answer and never will be. Whyle was a solid pickup and should stick, but a veteran should have been a priority. The Patriots had 2 good ones who were FAs.
There is a path to where this draft could be a life saver for GB. No first, but Parsons was well worth it. With the FAs we are losing being so popular, we should see 4 extra picks, maybe as high as an extra 3rd. But even an extra 4th & 5th, plus to later picks could really help. If someone in the Packers front office doesn't waste them by picking projects with high R A S scores.
