What I saw was Linderbaum was on the LBs all day. Without his play Henry wont get all those yards.
Too bad we spent money on banks when next year Lindy would be available.

Wouldn't have helped this season though. Lindy is Baltimore's lead blocking FB?

If the General Manager for the Eagles Howie Roseman and the Eagles' accountants can figure out how to get rid of Carson Wentz and his then RECORD CONTRACT AND RECORD DEAD CAP HIT, how come Gutekunst and the Packers accountants can't figure out how to get rid of Jordan Love and his Record Contract and Record Dead Cap hit?
Jordan Love is our Carson Wentz and Malik Willis is our Jalen Hurts.
If the Packers keep Jordan, he will be just Carson Wentz in a couple years - a journeyman.
If the Packers sign Malik Willis he will be just like Jalen Hurts in a couple years - a Super Bowl QB with years of Super Bowl contention in front of him.
Is our General Manager Gutekunst BIG ENOUGH TO ADMIT HE MADE A MISTAKE?
Mailk Willis is night and day better than Jordan Love - in all facets, mental and physical - and should be immediately signed by the Packers.
Even before the Micah Parsons trade this season's Packer team was one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl.
What's holding this team back is Jordan Love's poor choices and inaccuracy at critical times in critical games. This year the Browns loss, the Cowboys tie, the Carolina loss, and the Denver loss were all a result of Jordan's interceptions and fumble and poor decisions. The Bears game was trending in the same direction when Jordan was knocked out and Ravens game would have been the same as the Ravens with a lead would have been coming after Jordan and Jordan does not have Willis elusive ways, speed, quick release and accuracy. .
in last year's Packers loss to the Eagles, Jordan had the all time Packer QB lowest Packer playoff game passer rating for a Packers' QB that attempted at least 20 passes. This followed Jordan tying an 80 year old Packers record for most consecutive games throwing an interception at the start of a season. And the year before Jordan's BONEHEADED plays at the most critical time in the Divisional Round of the playoffs against the 49ers ended our season. That 49er game and end of the Packers season followed earlier Jekyll and Hyde performances and interceptions and BONEHEADED plays. And anyone that watched Jordan in college knew what Jordan was - all of college football's leader in throwing interceptions.
Jordan is our Carson Wentz and Malik is our Jalen Hurts.
For those that think that Gutey (the destroyer of Packer Super Bowl bound teams for 8 years now) cannot jettison Jordan Love pronto if Gutey wanted to, they are wrong.
Wentz was also drafted in the 1st round - 2nd overall pick.
Wentz was also had his rookie contract extended with a then record contract - Wentz June 2019 4 year extension gave him $107 million guaranteed - the most in history at that time surpassing Russell Wilson's then new deal.
Unlike Jordan - Wentz in his 2nd season finished 3rd in the MVP voting in 2017 - Brady was first and Todd Gurley 2nd.
But Howie Roseman - less than 2 years after giving Wentz that RECORD GUARANTEED MONEY AND EXTENSION realized what he had in Jalen Hurts and what he didn't have in Wentz and had the guts to rid himself of his mistake of drafting Wentz in the first round and giving Wentz a record contract by finding a team willing to trade for Wentz and take on his record guaranteed contract in March 2021. Roseman traded Wentz on March 17, 2021 for 2021 3rd round pick (84th overall) and 2022 1st round pick (16th overall). In doing so the Eagles took the largest dead cap hit at the time in NFL history.
Unlike Gutekunst, Roseman's start in the NFL was not due to Nepotism and Roseman had established himself as a GM when he made this trade of Wentz as Roseman's Eagles had won the Super Bowl with Roseman as GM in 2017 and would go to another in 2022 and win in 2024. 4 NFC Championship appearances and 3 Super Bowls for Roseman since 2017.
Gutey's only still around because Aaron Rodgers carried him for years.
Jordan held Gutey's (his NFL father) feet to the fire with the "hold in" after just half a season of decent play as a starter that followed a half season of bone headed interceptions that ended the Packers season with a CHOKE AND BONE HEADED THROWS - in the most important game of the year in the playoffs against the 49ers - that a grade school quarterback wouldn't make.
And "Gutey" lets Jordan BLACKMAIL (the ultimate soft extortion/shakedown) him into a record contract for a QB and pockets $75 million dollars in GUARANTEED SIGNING BONUS without having to play another snap! ( AND GUTEY WOULD NOT GIVE ANOTHER $1 MILLION TO PACKER FAN AND VETERAN PLAYER BELOVED LEADER AARON JONES - instead letting Aaron go to the Vikings, causing the Packers to wear down Jacobs and lose the outside before contact elusiveness of Aaron Jones).
So is it any surprise that Jordan AVOIDS CONTACT like the PLAGUE even the slightest physical contact?
Some of Jordan's lack of lateral - and vertical - movement inside the pocket and outside the pocket is just due to Jordan's lack of physical agility and clumsiness, but a lot of it is simply due to the fact that Jordan doesn't have to work another day in his life and would quit right now if he could without some crazy fan coming after him.
Jordan will quickly throw the ball away when there is any pressure at all - rather than move laterally in the pocket to elude pass rushers and buy time for his receivers to become open or run for the extra yards and slide (and Jordan is such an uncoordinated Gumby that Jordan will hurt himself attempting to slide) when there is any pressure at all.
Let's Face it, Jordan Love is just what he was in college:
1) does not see the field, consequently missing open receiver opportunities and causing Jordan to make bad decisions
2) is slow to release the ball, consequently missing open receiver opportunities and causing Jordan to make bad decisions. Even when Jordan does complete the pass, it is after the defender has closed any gap between defender and receiver reducing the big play possibility. This is a BIG reason why the Packers have had only 1 offensive touchdown from beyond the red zone/opponent 20 yard line.
3) Jordan is inaccurate with the ball. The ball - which is already being released late and after the defender has closed their gap with the Packers receiver - is often thrown behind the receiver, too high for the receiver (a hospital ball), too low for the receiver, too far out in front of the receiver, or underthrown. Jordan's inablity to hit the Packers receive IN STRIDE and in the hands is another BIG REASON why the Packers have had only 1 offensive touchdown that's distance from line of scrimmage was beyond the red zone/opponent 20 yard line
4) is lumbering and clumsy and unaware of where he is in the pocket relative to both pass rushers and his own lineman
5) lacks the agility that enables a quarterback to be elusive and move laterally in the pocket
6) lacks the agility and balance to be a consistently reliable weapon as a running quarterback or in a more limited scenario of called read option running plays
7) fundamental footwork is terrible as is throwing mechanics
8) Jordan does not seem to know:
a) the score
b) the down
c) the quarter
d) time left on the clock
9) when Jordan loses confidence Jordan can go through a long string of PANIC AND POOR DECISION MAKING - fumbles and interceptions and just poor choices of what to do on any particular play
and how each of a, b, c, and d should influence his decision making and risk taking
That's why Jordan has had the melt downs we have seen in the biggest more important games as well as at other times.
Jordan was at best worthy of a 5th round draft pick and should be at best a backup quarterback.
Jordan will again show us who he is - be it at Chicago or at Philadelphia - next weekend.
