I'm willing to extend forgiveness for not seeing that McManus should miss 4 weeks and therefore not immediately placing him on IR. Who knows what GB does at the position for the rest of this year? It's obviously not that important since every game GB hasn't won, a FG would have at least tied. And Anders Carlson hasn't missed a kick all season, lol.

We should win today and go 6-3-1

Pretty hard NOT to go 6-3-1 if they win today. 😉

It's a different season now for the Packers. In two short weeks they've lost the crucial "pole position" both in the Division and NFC playoff "seeding." They've fallen from first to third and first to 7th in both with a pair of 3 point defeats at home. Right now there are half a dozen NFC teams showing better than them and another couple that could be on their heels for that final playoff berth.
There is still a long way to go but the margin will be shrinking if the Pack doesn't get their issues fixed pretty soon. The Giants look like an easy picking but then so did Cleveland, Dallas and Carolina.
The coaching change in New York could be unpredictable. Teams that have made such changes in season have been known to get an initial bump. The Packers did that in 2018 when Joe Philbin took over as interim from McCarthy and a week after a bad home loss to the Cardinals went out and whipped Atlanta. It was also an interim change in Kansas City, with defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel taking over, in 2011 that ended the Packers' run at an undefeated season and established the book on how to beat Green Bay and deny them a Super Bowl repeat.
The Giants did beat the Eagles 34-17 this year and could be considerably better than their 2-8 record had they not had big collapses in the fourth quarter against Denver and Chicago. But they are what they are and so are the Packers. Something's gotta give with one team or the other today.
Whether the Packers can regain the ground lost remains to be seen but they are probably going to be in a week to week scrap just to make the playoffs again. These final 8 weeks have scenarios that could play out either way. We need to start seeing signs of a "run" in this team and today is the perfect time and place to start.
