It’s come down to eight games left in the MLF era. A deep playoff run or he’s gone. And the architect of this o line will probably go too.
The results aren’t there. They haven’t been. It would not shock me to see them miss the playoffs.
A loss to the Giants ( LaFleur has already done that 2X) and the team could fracture.
Who would have thought after two weeks that in the 10th game, the season is on the line?
Unfortunately for us that live and die with the Packers.. it will get worse before it gets better.

The Packers were shorthanded by many of their needed players due to injuries. I get that, that's football. They are now in 7th place (were in 2nd) but Shit For Brains MLF decided to run the ball again and again and again killing the clock and not advancing the ball much. Of course so many of the Packer players with shit for brains didn't help either. Illegal formation? Is it that difficult to avoid? And the team is lead by Shit For Brains Love, the $55 million man that doesn't realize that when you have a gorilla outweighing you by 100 pounds you don't try to escape and lose 20 yards, you just go down. At least he didn't throw into triple coverage as he's used to doing. The Packers have 8 games to redeem against a difficult schedule ahead. It does not look good for making the playoffs. And if they don't, they earned it.

I've got a question related to the 40% pressure rate on Jordan in this game that Andy talked about.

This obviously means that on 40% of the drop backs, the Eagles were able to apply pressure and force Jordan to throw early, throw away or take a sack. But of course there's a difference between getting pressure by blitzing vs. getting pressure by just sending 3 or 4 guys. If it's an all-out blitz and the defense is sending 7 after the QB, that means there's opportunities out there for the QB to exploit if he can react quick enough. If the defense is sending 4 and getting pressure, that's obviously far more difficult because a lot of receivers are going to be double teamed or there are going to be extra defenders waiting to react and possibly create a turnover.

So my general question is - are there more advanced stats which could illustrate this nuance? It seems to me that one of the big problems this year is of course poor o-line play, but especially because these teams seem to be able to create pressure with just 3 or 4 defenders, making it that much harder on Jordan to overcome that challenge. I would imagine if there was a stat like 'pressure rate when defense is sending 4 or less', it would show a pretty glaring issue compared to other playoff hopefuls.

*all this would say is that the o-line needs to be better, it wouldn't solve anything, but it would help illustrate that Jordan isn't getting any favors from the o-line

I have been one of those posters who was calling out MLF last offseason when I noted he made zero upgrades to his positional coaching staff nor did he hire a top-notch offensive mind to assist him with his overall game planning/in-game adjustments. Because of these 'no moves' in a competitive Division-the writing was on the wall.

I am even more concerned that we do not objectively and thoroughly discuss the devastating effect Gutekunst has had on this team in terms of failed player acquisition and general whiffing on early round picks. He is the architect of this O-Line. Morgan, Banks, Belton, Hobbs are squarely on Gutekunst. The O-Line has deteriorated and is worse than last year. And, they have a mediocre coach. Why is all of that tolerated?
IMO, all GB can do now is try to find emergency, available offensive-minded coaching talent from the college ranks or wherever it is legally ok. Butkus, Stenavich, MLF cannot do this alone.
