#9, purely hypothetical: even if he only plays 10 snaps and all they let him do is run pure go routes, he still tilts the field. "The MVS role" means the opposing defense sends their fastest guy to try to cover him, or there's broken coverage and the easiest TDs you ever get. While I like the idea of only throwing to him in this situation if he's actually open, he still opens up things elsewhere on the field and MLF is at least really good at drawing up plays to utilize this well. It's also possible that this game never gets in a situation that exposed any of MLF's weaknesses.
I think the Steelers ARE "that good," but so is GB. They haven't played like it for 60 minutes yet this season, and this would be a really good time to do so.
The only prediction I'll make is I expect this to be a good game at the very least. Maybe a great game? Maybe not so great to watch as a Packers fan? Either team could blow out the other, it could be a shootout or a low scoring defensive affair. If both defenses play well and both offense still score a lot I think that's probably the definition of a great game.
GPG!

I was surprised the Packers were made favorites tonight. These are two very even teams, in some ways almost mirrors of one another. If it's not a tossup, "pick 'em" game the home field leans slightly toward Pittsburgh.
The Packers have not been the same team on the road, for whatever reasons, that they present at Lambeau. We should find out fairly early by how they come out and start the game. If we see the energy, speed, focus of playing at home in this road situation an important win could be in the offing.
But if the o line can't win for rushing and pass protection the offense won't be able to exploit the Steelers' perceived defensive flaws. A turnover or two and any mess ups on special teams could get the Pack results like Dallas and Cleveland.
I doubt they'll get many sacks on Rodgers but if they can bring consistent pressure they may force some critical misses or throwaways, But if DK Metcalf runs wild in the Packer secondary it'll be a long night in Steel City.
The team that can get to 27-30 points will most likely win this game but which one will that be?
