I find it hard to believe that the Packers are generally out of shape? Sure, some players who are injured might not be back up to prime speed the first week back after injury. And is this a statement pointed at the defense or offense? On defense, GB seems to always have half time leads. This might cause opponents to start being more aggressive in the air in the 2nd half. But is that conditioning or the DBs not staying aggressive and playing more sit back / Joe Barry style defending? I suggest the latter. On offense, it's harder to say. If OL play is off or if u take more penalties, you have to run more plays that will tire u out. Regardless, blaming conditioning is a way of saying you (1) don't know what the problem is, or (2) you're in denial as to what the problem is. Once u have the true source of the problem (s), only then can u develop effective solutions.
