Wilson is a Jacobs near clone. Johnson is nothing like him. Not physically or in running style. Johnson is closest to Lloyd. I don’t know if he can protect or catch, but, if he could, then the obvious route would be as a future third down back. Thats Brooks’ role.
If Jacobs goes down then Wilson removes the need to change the O. Lloyd expands the O. If he goes down I’d love Johnson around to keep that offensive dimension live. Brooks is a protector and LaFleur safety blanket like Patrick Taylor was. Taylor bounced around from the PS to roster despite being an excellent protector. Hopefully Gute has more perspective again.
Stackhouse. What’s with all the washed out by double teams narrative you’ve had all summer? For one thing that’s what he was notably excellent at while at Georgia and furthermore it’s precisely how he ascended the pecking order here. I can see arguments against him, notably him being limited, but this one is bafflingly baseless.
2 for 2 nonsensical musings at the end.
