Commentary:
- Charles Woodson, Greg Jennings, John Kuhn, Nick Perry and Sam Shields have already been ruled out of Sunday's game.
- The predictions are pretty cut and dried this week. Because the Packers are carrying only 52 players on their roster instead of 53, they only need to have one more player inactive on Sunday.
- Jordy Nelson is the only player listed as questionable. Basically, the decision comes down to him. If Nelson goes, offensive lineman Greg Van Roten will be inactive. If Nelson can't play, Van Roten will be active for the first time in his career. The prediction is they'll play it safe with Nelson.
- Newly signed running back Johnny White will be active for the first time as well. With Kuhn out and James Starks battling injury, White could play an important backup role.
- Get ready to see a lot of tight ends on Sunday. They'll be used as both as receivers and in place of Kuhn in the backfield.

I hope this is what the inactives look like. There is NO reason for Jordy to play in this game. If we can't beat Jacksonville without Jordy, this team has more problems than even the most avid and loyal of Cheeseheads would like to admit.
MM should have learned from Greg's injury that those types of nagging, leg muscle injuries are nothing to rush. Let him recover, and hey, if there's any question next week, let him sit through the bye week as well. We need all our guys healthy for that stretch run through the 5 divisional games.

It will be interesting to see how it all pans out if Jordy doesn't play. Jones and Cobb are playing starter-caliber right now. I think Driver has been benched because there are better options, not because he has nothing left...even if he's half as fast as he used to be, he should have the ability to get open on posession routes. And an untested rookie as a fourth wideout? That just evens out our WR depth with the rest of the league.

I agree, Driver's role has been reduced for one reason - Cobb! But I think Driver still has a role. No, he can't separate like he used to and probably can't turn a 10-15 yard slant into an 80 yard TD, but he keeps himself in ridiculous shape and is one guy I wouldn't ever bet against.
I actually have high hopes for Boykin; I think he could be a James Jones-type player: Big, physical receiver that runs crisp routes and can create separation. He's got big hands and the best thing is he has been consistent wherever he's been. He was a sure-handed, safety blanket type guy at VaTech and he was always making plays in the preseason. The reason I like him better than Gurley and Borel is he never had a bad week like those two guys did. Also, he's worked with Rodgers in the preseason. And Arron said he's a player, so that's more than enough for me. The only reason Boykin isn't more highly regarded is his 4.7 he ran at the combine.
Don't sleep on the TEs though! I think this is the week J-Mike and DJ get utilized more often together on the field in a 2-TE set.
