Vikings Add Jeff Davidson, Craig Johnson to Coaching Staff

Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier announced the additions of Jeff Davidson and Craig Johnson to his offensive coaching staff.

Frazier made the announcements while discussing his other coaching hires, including Bill Musgrave as the team's new offensive coordinator.

After spending the last four seasons as the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator, Davidson will coach the offensive line. A former offensive lineman with the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints, Davidson has coached offensive lines with the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots.

Johnson has agreed to become the team's quarterbacks coach, a position he's held for the last nine seasons with the Tennessee Titans.

There has been speculation that Johnson's hiring in Minnesota could pave the way for the team to pursue Vince Young.
