The Philadelphia Eagles announced the signing of free agent defensive end Eric Moncur.

An undrafted free agent from the University of Miami, Moncur (6-1, 238) spent the off-season with the Eagles before being cut on August 2 when rookie wide receiver Jared Perry was signed.

Moncur totaled 76 tackles and 9 quarterback sacks during an injury-plagued college career. Abdominal and groin injuries limited Moncur to 7 games over his final two seasons, the fifth and sixth seasons overall, in Coral Gables.
