Buccaneers DT Brian Price Sidelined by Hamstring

Because UCLA operates on the quarters system, Tampa Bay Buccaneers second-round defensive tackle Brian Price hasn't been able to participate in the team's "Organized Team Activity" sessions.

Finally able to partake in the workouts, Price was sidelined by a hamstring injury, Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times reports.

"'I'm happy to be out here. I'm blessed. And I'm just taking it one day at a time,'' Price said. "The hamstring is coming along. We're just being cautious. Just taking it day by day. I'm feeling better."

Price and 2010 first-round pick Gerald McCoy, who returned to action on Monday after tweaking his hip last week, are expected to play significant, if not starting roles in the middle of the Buccaneers' defense this season.
