It's terrific to hear three smart, engaging women talking football. Having tortured many girlfriends with my NFL obsession (especially while living in Germany for the past 20 years after growing up in Canada and studying in the U.S.), it's rather pleasant to know that there are female football enthusiasts out there who take the game as seriously and feel as much passion for the sport as guys. I also enjoy Ms Goldstein's trivia shows with Aaron Nagler. Keep up the good work.
Several good points were made concerning the Packers' transition to a total LaFleur offence and how the team may well have a much more effective attacking style than the traditional McCarthy-Rodgers spread formation we have seen for the past decade. I'm not sure that taking the ball out of Rodgers's hands is necessarily a sound strategy, but the Pack never reached the Super Bowl after the 2010 win, so change is in order. Gutekunst and LaFleur clearly believe that the existing WR corps is talented enough to provide Rodgers with all the weapons he needs in a more balanced passing/run attacking offensive scheme, and if Lazard, EQ, and by some miracle MVS deliver on their potential then this could be a very exciting season.
Final thought: in the age of Zoom, I think it makes much more sense and would certainly draw more people to the broadcast if this CheeseheadTV segment would switch to video rather than simply audio.
