#PackersDaily: Credit LaFleur for his initial hires

Aaron chats with Packers fans as the team starts replacing coaches on LaFleur's offensive staff leaving for jobs with other teams.

Earlier today, I held my Packers chat over on our YouTube channel talking all things Green and Gold.

"Credit LaFleur for his initial hires"

On Offense and Defense absolutely. On Special Teams he doesn't seam to know what he's doing and needs to outsource all of it.

Apparently, LaFleur is going to be stubborn and try to make silk out of a sow’s ear. Drayton is NOT NFL quality. Please get a skilled Special Teams coordinator. Coaches salaries do Not Count against the salary cap. Why in the heck can’t our head coach, GM, President and Board figure this out?

@Barnacle.
..............or perhaps La Fleur IS going to fire Drayton but hasn't chosen to do it yet. Maybe he wants to give Drayton a few days in Hawaii, before sending him on his way.

I saw an article AFTER that 49 game debacle about MLF "considering" using more starters on SP. Said he was going to check the league statistics about it. The article mentioned the danger, specifically mentioning Dillion being injured in the playoff game playing SP. MLF did NOT mention anything about Drayton. That's crazy.

The hires to date were somewhat predictable - being low hanging fruit. The easiest hire(s) are usually the ones from within. So nothing revelatory.

Wut. Almost no one knew who Adam Stenavich even was three years ago. That's some serious revisionist history you're spouting there.

There has been constant recent chatter - that in order for the Packers to retain Stenavich - he would require a significant raise and/promotion. The OC position was the only one that the Packers could offer - which they did.

Nothing to do with the reinterpretation of views, evidence, motivations, and decision-making processes surrounding a historical event . It was just basic corporate business.

Fans may not have known about Adam Stenavich three years ago, but MLF still made a good hire in that instance, based on his performance this season. Fan knowledge is never the same as the knowledge held by the personnel within an organization. Was Steno a MLF guy when he was hired or was interviewing him a friendly Gute or Murphy recommendation? I don't even know when this happened. My meager bovine knowledge supports my point that fans never have perfect knowledge. Don't have a cow. Moo.

p.s. When does your glorious Pyrrharctia isabella return?

Ask me when we see what they do as a group. Thus far nobody knows how good they will be, only that some think they will prove to be.
