Packers vs.Bears Game Predictions from CheeseheadTV.com

 GAME PREDICTIONS Week 15

Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears

Name Record   Pick Prediction
Adam 16-0 Green Bay Packers
Jersey Al 5-8 Green Bay Packers 21-10
Let me be honest, I have no clue as to the pulse of this year's Packers team. I am pretty sure the Bears still suck, however. A gimpy Aaron Rodgers is still exponentially better than any fully healthy QB the Bears can throw out there. The weather conditions will keep this from being a rout, but it will still be a comfortable win.
Andrew 7-6 Green Bay Packers 24-10
This is pretty straightforward: the Packers have to win and they should. While the Bears aren't playing as badly as their record indicates, they don't have the horses to hang with the Packers. The only question is the weather and it's impact. If they unleash To Montgomery though, the impact of the cold should be minimal.
Cory 8-5 Green Bay Packers 27-13
Even though the Bears have been one of the most pathetic teams this year, Chicago is still playing to the end. This is a game that the Packers need to win without any major injuries.
Jason 9-4 Green Bay Packers 20-13
An old school cold weather clash between two long-standing rivals is on tap.  The weather will limit the offensive fireworks but as much of a trap game as this seems to be, the Packers don't seem destined to ruin their late season run with a clunker against a three-win team.  Chicago has taken down both Detroit and Minnesota at Soldier Field but the Packers spoil the home divisional sweep party.  Ideally the Packers get out to an early lead and get some rest for some of their starters.  Alshon Jeffery is back but with Matt Barkey at quarterback, it may not be much of a story come game's end.  Green Bay will key on Jordan Howard and keep Chicago on their own side of the field most of the day.
Jayme 7-6 Green Bay Packers 28-21
While I would be very sad if the Bears did actually put 21 points on the Packers after the way that this defense, this score has work the past three weeks, so I'm going to keep riding it.
Michelle 7-6 Green Bay Packers 21-10
The Bears have nothing left to play for this season except to be spoilers, and they came pretty close to doing it to Detroit in Week 14. The Bears have Alshon Jeffery returning in Week 15, but the team’s top wideout has just one touchdown reception on the season. If the same Packers secondary that showed up against Russell Wilson can get after Matt Barkley, he’s going to have a hard time putting points on the board.
Ross 8-5 Green Bay Packers 31-13
Yes, this is a trap game.  Green Bay should beat Chicago without much trouble, but they could theoretically be looking forward to their next two games.  With that said, Green Bay doesn’t have the safety net of still (probably) winning the division that they did in 2014.  If they lose this game to Chicago the season is over.  Everything that has had the fans excited for the last three weeks goes away.  I said it last week and I’ll say it again.  You’ve gotta believe.
Zach 7-6 Green Bay Packers 26-14
Packers win their fourth game in a row despite the Chicago climate. A limited Aaron Rodgers still stays upright in the pocket and the Packers revert back to the quick passing game.
Mr. X 7-6 Green Bay Packers 21-13
The Packers' run the table tour does not derail against the Bears, although the weather and Rodgers' injury keeps it close than it should be.

Everyone picks the Pack. -- Except one thing. The wind chill could be -15 to -25. --- No way will this be a typical game. --- Hate to see the Pack get beat by the weather but it just may happen.

If the wind is a factor this game becomes a defensive and field position battle. The Packers quick passing game and ground game with Monty and RIP should be enough to give the Packers a lead to work with. The weather should help the Packers defense continue their solid play. I like the Pack 21-7. Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since '61

Projected gametime temps continue to climb...now talking 8 degrees. Much like last week, the weather is turning out to be much ado about nothing.

Dobber - I hope that you are correct. The wind is a bigger factor than the temperature. Less wind better for the Packers passing game and the kicking game in general. If the Packers can run their offense without concern for the wind the Bears cannot keep with them, especially if our defense maintains their level of play from the last 3 games. Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since '61

Looks like common sense has been restored. Sure, it's possible that "on any given Sunday" the Bears could win. But I don't understand why so many posters here have such anxiety about the Bears game. The Packers are definitely favorites, and I don't see why it should be such a doubtful thing.

These teams played each other in week seven. Back then, the Packers rolled up 406 yards of total offense and possessed the ball for 40 minutes (!!). The Bears managed a paltry 189 yards for the entire game, and only had the ball for 20 minutes. The Packers had 32 first downs to the Bears' 13. The Bears passing attack went 10-26 for 120 yards with no TDs and 2 INTs. The Packers averaged 4.5 yards rushing on 23 carries to the Bears 3.8 on 18 carries. In the end, the Packers dominated and won by a score of 26-10.

Maybe people say that the Bears have improved since then. Wouldn't we say the same about the Packers? Or maybe someone says that Rodgers is gimpy. Fine, but Rodgers has been playing lights-out football, and the Bears are trotting out Matt Barkley. Maybe you're concerned about the weather or the road game, but Green Bay is just as familiar with cold as Chicago is, and Soldier field is a 30 minute plane ride from Austin Straubel.

Unless the weather simply makes scoring impossible, expect a similar score as last time.

I think many people are still gun shy about picking a packers whooping, but we are going to get one. The wind and temps are going to be painful, no way around that, but the bears will suffer too. This game will get out of hand in the packs favor and quickly. While the stats may not read like a blowout the scoreboard will show just that. 41-10 packers.

Three weeks ago I finally picked against the Packers by taking the Eagles, 27-13...Packers won.

Two weeks ago I picked Houston to beat the Packers 27-13...Packers won.

Last week I picked Seattle to beat the Packers 27-13...Packers won.

Bears 27, Packers 13.

Gimpy and frigid not a good combo. See low scoring game with Bears maybe scoring a touchdown on a turnover. 17-7.

If the Packers don't put the ball on the ground, they win and hold the Bears below 11 points.

I believe the Packers defense should be improved over the mid-season and the Bears will have difficulty running the ball.

I ordered a custome jersey from Packers pro shop. I asked for Bears Suck to be the player name. They wont do it.

Claim it is deragatory. I say it is just the truth.

Dude, order a nameless jersey, buy some letters or a blank sheet and cut your own, break out the iron and presto! I once saw a bears jersey with cuntler on the back.

I live in Mozambique, and there is a lot of used clothing and factory rejects from the USA that get sent over here for sale. So you'll see some Mozambican dude living way out in the middle of nowhere in the Mozambican bush and he'll be wearing a green and gold #4 jersey that says "Farve" or "Faver" on the back. Kinda funny...

I say the weather will be a factor in turnovers.
and the Bears have a strong defense. But still, it will be the Packers by 6 to 8 points. It will be a low scoring game for the Bears.
And don't look for the Lions to win, either.

Weather will slow scoring for both teams, expect trick plays from the Bears with nothing on the line, as long as the Packers O line plays like last week then we should be fine but expect a low scoring game maybe Packers 17 Bears 10 .

Get the lead, keep the lead and don't let up. Do not put the game into special teams hands. If the opportunity presents itself it might be time to get BH some more playing time. Prediction, Packers win.

The better the weather, the better for the Pack. Especially the wind concerns me. If it's nasty and windy, it's going to be a low-scoring and close affair that will make all nervous.

Hoping for a calm day in the teens and a 31-10 score. Scared I'm going to see a day in the sub-zeros and a 13-10 score.

Jersey Al, Jayme, Cory, Jason, Michelle, Zach, & the other Cheesehead TV predictors: I enjoy reading your predictions before the game. It's a Good Barometer of how most folks feel about the game. It's a well known fact, that people all across the country, including, Green Bay & Packer land bet on the Green Bay game. Being in Vegas, I do from time to time. Why don't you add the Point Spread to your predictions once to see how you would do. This past Sunday, you all had GB winning, but you were all wrong using the spread. Besides me, there was only 2 guy's on this site that would have won their bet's (dobber & Allen Murphy). 1 guy picked the Pack 41-10.

I meant this all in fun, so I hope I don't get flack back, but I'm sure I will. It's fun to pick games Even Up, but out here, unless you're willing lay down $300 to make $100 it doesn't mean anything. Try using the spread sometime, it makes a whole different ballgame out of it. Please No Flack!! I really do enjoy your predictions.
