 GAME PREDICTIONS - 2017 Week 11

Green Bay Packers vs. Baltimore Ravens

Name Record   Pick Prediction
Andrew 6-3 Green Bay Packers 17-14
It's nice to see the team get the job done when it should, and now the Packers face a winnable matchup in the form of Baltimore. Hundley is coming off his best game as a starter, and McCarthy is going to want to keep that momentum going. The problem is the depleted backfield, which could allow the Ravens to focus on hurrying Hundley and forcing bad throws. The Ravens offense isn't much to worry about overall, but Alex Collins and Buck Allen will have to be contained. Luckily the Packers are rated No 8 against the run per Football Outsiders DVOA. That makes me feel pretty good about the team containing the Ravens on that side of the ball, and giving Hundley a chance to stay in it and not press.
Andy 5-4 Green Bay Packers 16-10
Green Bay will win their second game in a row in a low-scoring game that will be won or lost in the trenches. Kenny Clark & Mike Daniels will be the difference in this one.
Chris P 6-3 Green Bay Packers 20-16
Brett Hundley led the Packers to 23 points against a good Bears defense and made two clutch throws down the stretch. That's a good sign for this week. The Ravens aren't too dynamic, but they are tough and Hundley will need to be on point. He will be and the Packers will win, albeit a little ugly.
Chris W 4-5 Green Bay Packers 23-19
If there’s a game that can get the Packers’ defense back on track, this is probably it. Joe Flacco gives the ball away a couple times and the pass rush finally breaks through, sending the Packers to 6-4 and keeping the playoffs within reach.
Cory 6-3 Green Bay Packers 20-16
This is an intriguing matchup because Baltimore’s defense has been playing well. Look for Jordy Nelson to be incorporated early against a Baltimore team that has shown struggles vs. the slot. Joe Flacco has thrown five interceptions and has been sacked 10 times in five road games this year.
David 7-2 Green Bay Packers 23-20
If the Packers are effective (and stay committed) running the ball, they have a chance Sunday. If McCarthy gets pass-happy with Brett Hundley, they'll play into the Ravens' defensive advantage.
Elisha 6-3 Green Bay Packers 23-20
The Ravens are just 6-15 on the road since the start of the 2015 season. Green Bay should be able to run the ball in this one, as Baltimore has allowed the third most rushing yards in 2017. The Packers should be able to win this one, especially if they're able to create some turnovers.
Jason 6-3 Green Bay Packers 23-21
I expect Brett Hundley to continue his playmaking ways and he’ll need to.  Baltimore has a top pass defense but a banged up secondary.  Green Bay’s defense needs at least one turnover
Jersey Al 5-4 Green Bay Packers 17-16
The Packers laid out the blueprint last week for how to win games without Aaron Rodgers. Two perfect Hundley passes allowed the Packers to break away for the win. that's unlikely to happen again, so this one will be closer, but the Packers find a way.
Michelle 5-4 Green Bay Packers 20-17
The Packers established a foundation they can build upon in their Week 10 win over the Chicago Bears, but the Baltimore Ravens are a different caliber of opponent. Ultimately, Brett Hundley's continued improvements on offense bode well, but this game will come down to whether or not running back Devante Mays can get the job done and, crucially, whether the defense can continue to build upon its recent success.
Ross 7-2 Green Bay Packers 23-17
I suppose it’s time to believe now. Can’t fight the feelin’
Zach 5-4 Green Bay Packers 30-14
While the Packers may want to keep the ball out of Brett Hundley’s hands in 30° weather, last week may have been a huge step in his developing confidence. Now, he’s gradually grasping and realizing his full potential. I think the Packers play one of their best games of the season.

I'm dangerously confident. It'll obviously come back to bite me in the ass.

Honestly, I'm very surprised everyone here is on GB this week. I'm an optimist and even I tend to go about 50-50 on this one.

The Pack are 5-4 while the Ravens are 4-5.
The Ravens are better than da Bears but not by much.
The game is in Green Bay.
It really won't matter (too much) how Hundley performs.

This game is all on the Packer "D". -- It would be nice to have some confidence in the Packer "D" but the "D" is still the achilles heal of this team. (for seven years running)---- Regardless, GB 17 -- Balt. 13.

Awful lot of multi touchdown predictions for an offense that has yet to show its capable of sustaining that performance. If the D has looked slow and out of position thus far just wait until they hit the colder temps on Sunday. Beating the bears was an emotional win. Baltimore is coming off of a bye. This game has disaster for the pack written all over it.

You may very well be right if an elite team were coming to GB Sunday. -- The Ravens are just another losing team that the Pack love to beat up on (with AR). -- Still, a multi TD game is unlikely. -- The real issue is if the Pack loses to Baltimore, there's a good chance they will be 5-6 after going to Pittsburgh next week.

The predictions are hope. The key is can we score 20 on their defense. May be tough. Also, after watching Mitch throw for 297 , and a fumbled TD, does one think our defense can stop Flacco, even though he's beed bad? Flacco is still better then Mitch. I think the predictions are good hopes, and I will use the hope word and hope you're correct. Without this win we're done, really.

Like someone said earlier it's on the Packers D , with some 3 and outs and no big plays that would help out the Packers offense a great deal but that might be asking too much, had they done that against the Lions that could have been a win. I have confidence in the defensive but 0 confidence in Dom Capers .

This game will tell us how serious the Packers are about making the playoffs. First we need solid play from the OL to get and keep the ground game going. We can be pretty confident that the Ravens are going to do everything they can to make Hundley beat them.

Secondly, Hundley cannot turn the ball over against this team. Quick passes to our TEs with draw plays and screens are the way to go against the Ravens defense.

Our defense is the concern in this game (as usual). If they can generate a pass rush against Flacco we can stop the Ravens. This is a game where Perry, Daniels, Clark, and CM3 need to show up big time. Also, Josh Jones should be utilized to get after the immobile Flacco. If our pass rush is not effective Flacco is still good enough to cut the Packers secondary to pieces.

1. OL play to keep the ball away from Flacco.
2. Effective Packers pass rush
3. Win the field position battle
4. No Packer turnovers
5. Force Ravens Turnovers.

Packers 24 - 16. Thanks, Since '61

Aaron Rodgers should not play again this season, even if they aren't mathematically eliminated: The team isn't good enough to win two playoff games even with Aaron back.

Hundley is unbelievably bad. A couple of weeks ago McCarthy came to the defense of his THIRD-year QB. He needs to come to his own defense this time. I haven't participated in the previous hype about Joe Callahan (or Hundley for that matter) but Callahan should start next week. Having Hundley start again sends a bad signal to the team.

Zach's' prediction that GB scores 30 is my favorite. Nice work. Well done. Hundley has surely shown signs that he can lead an offense to a score 30 points.
