Packers vs. Buccaneers - 2017 Game Predictions from

 GAME PREDICTIONS - 2017 Week 13

Green Bay Packers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Name Record   Pick Prediction
Andrew 7-4 Green Bay Packers 17-14
It's hard not to get a little excited by the level of play against the Steelers even if they ended up on the losing end. But Green Bay has taken a couple of steps back every time they step forward. Tampa is a team at least as messy as the Packers. This game could come down to whether Jameis Winston plays or not. I'm leaning towards him playing as the Bucs desperately want to turn things around. With Winston the Bucs are a problem, or more of one. I'm hoping the momentum from last week keeps up and the Packers build on it. It won't be a high scoring game but it's one I think the Packers end up winning.
Andy 6-5 Green Bay Packers 19-16
I really went back and forth with this prediction but a hot weather team coming to Lambeau in December with nothing to play for is a recipe for disaster. Green Bay needs to make sure Jameis doesn't get rolling early but I can't see Tampa putting up a ton of fight in this one. Green Bay wins in a close one.
Chris P 6-4 Green Bay Packers 27-2-
The Packers need to win this game, but that does not mean it will be easy. If Brett Hundley can continue to play well, like he did last week in Pittsburgh, Green Bay should find a way
Chris W 5-6 Green Bay Packers 24-20
Green Bay should be able to take advantage of Tampa’s porous pass defense, with a steady dose of the run mixed in. Defensively, the Packers are facing a fairly potent passing attack, but Jameis Winston missed three straight games and tends to make poor decisions. It might be ugly, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Cory 7-4 Green Bay Packers 27-23
This is going to sound illogical, but I actually like the Packers with Jameis Winston back. His mind hasn’t been right this season and even without Kevin King, the Packers should win this one.
David 8-3 Green Bay Packers 27-24
The Packers best--and perhaps only--chance at the postseason starts with snapping a horrid three-game home losing streak. Tampa Bay has enough playmakers to make it interesting. Ultimately, Green Bay will ride the wave from last week's close loss and get the 'W'.
Elisha 7-4 Green Bay Packers 24-20
This feels like it could be a trap game for the Packers. When Winston is healthy, the Buccaneers offense could be dangerous. Green Bay will need Hundley to take advantage of Tampa's atrocious secondary in order to be victorious.
Jason 7-4 Green Bay Packers 31-24
Tampa Bay comes in with back up offensive linemen and a rusty Jameis Winston.  The Packers defense should have their opportunities to change the game and help the Packers pull away late.  Brett Hundley doesn't regress and keeps the offense rolling.  The good guys keep their season alive.
Jersey Al 6-5 Green Bay Packers 24-17
Tampa just put two of their starting offensive linemen on Injured Reserve, so one would hope the Packers will be able to create some havoc in the Bucs backfield.  Hopefully Hundley stays on a positive trajectory and the Packers win game one of the 2017 “Run the Table” Tour.
Michelle 6-5 Green Bay Packers 21-20
I’m predicting this one to be so close because it honestly feels like a toss-up. The Bucs will get Jameis Winston back, which seems like a huge advantage...but quite frankly, the team has looked better at times with Ryan Fitzpatrick. Add the Bucs’ offensive line injuries and the Packers certainly have a chance if they look like they did in Week 12.
Ross 8-3 Green Bay Packers 27-17
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.  Win the next two and bring the GOAT back.
Zach 5-6 Green Bay Packers 27-17
The Packers are going to win these next two games. You have to think they’ve found their backfield tandem of Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams, and Brett Hundley’s confidence has to be through the roof after Sunday night.

We've yet to see Hundley play well at home, but that's moreso due to a feeling out process, rather than him being scared to play at Lambeau. The Bucs just lost two offensive linemen to IR, Jameis will be rusty, they have no running game whatsoever and the WORST pass defense in the NFL.

Dare 'em to run and play lots of nickel and dime. Packers 24, Bucs 19.

I don't care. Just don't. I'm sick of the useless roller coaster of 'almost but not quite'. A win is useless and only delays the inevitable. A blowout somewhere before the SB...again. I'm getting sick of the same old ,same old.

How's that for a fart in the wind?

I agree. A few wins and Mashed Potato Mike gets to keep his job along with the other 2 Stooges and we do Groundhog Day all over again next year.

I just hope Cleveland can get a win today. Don’t want to go there next week and be their first win.

The Packers have their problems but the Bucs are even worse off. If Hundley can play well at Lambeau the Packers should win this game. If we have Brooks back coupled with Williams our ground should take pressure off of Hundley.

With 2 OL starters out for the Bucs we should finally see a Packers pass rush whether its against a rusty Winston or an immobile Fitzpatrick.

I like the Pack 27 - 16. Thanks, Since '61

" With 2 OL starters out for the Bucs we should finally see a Packers pass rush ".....

Is it not a sign of being pathetic, that the hope for something that should have been and paid for, depends on the injuries the opponent has to appear successful.

Taryn - of course it is a pathetic sign, but what are we going to call it if the pass rush doesn't show up again this week? Thanks, Since '61
