Personally I would rather have an earlier pick.

Sorry - I wouldn't take a cb..
I would take Banks. DT if there.
But if you want the most out of this draft-
Take Ots in your simulator, and you'll see you get two A grades.
You dump salary - per Banks and Walker.
The possibility of moving Tom increases.
And if you double down.
You protect Love for years to come.
You then have money for the defense.

I'm not looking to move Tom or accrue $20 mil in dead cap by dumping Banks. If an OT is there and good enough I would be happy to see the Pack take them, but not in spite of other/better talent at positions of need.

I think you better look at the
" roster construction strategy".
Banks has been detrimental
to team performance.
And why you'd pay new money
for a guy that has no superior skill set.
Still remains a position of Need.

Will he be ready to actually contribute/ be impactful before his rookie contract is up? That doesn’t happen often enough in Green Bay.

Good point. Too many times we draft a player who finally starts making progress in the final year of his rookie contract and then we have tough decisions. Maybe it’s a product of being better at drafting in the later rounds than the earlier rounds.
Enagbare is a good example of that and who knows LVN could be next.
