The team released tight end Ben Sims to make room on the roster.

Earlier this afternoon, the Packers activated Christian Watson to the active roster at the close of his 21 day practice window after coming off the physically unable to perform list.
Among players with 75-plus receptions, Watson ranks No. 3 in the NFL since entering the league with an average of 16.9 yards per catch. Prior to his injury, Watson averaged 21.4 yards per reception in 2024.
Watson his ACL on Jan. 5th, during Green Bay's Week 18 game against the Bears. On Oct. 6th, Watson returned to practice as the Packers opened up his 21-day PUP practice window.
To make room for Watson the team released tight end Ben Sims.

Jayden Reed still out, Golden questionable. Good time for Watson's return. Remember all the fans who wanted to trade Doubs because we had "so much talent" at WR?

May not happen this weekend based on likely pitch count for Watson and Golden's sudden injury at practice but I sure can't wait to see Watson and Golden on the field at the same time. Two deep posts with Kraft running an underneath pattern, how ya gonna stop that?

First play, throw it as far and as high as you can and see if he can catch it.
