I was one who pondered the use of Josh Jackson at safety, though you have to give him a proper chance at CB first. A lot of things J.J. does well, fit nicely with the safety position, but I do agree he has to be a reliable tackler before you can put him there.

You did mention Josh Jones as a possible ILB guy, if injuries hit that position............but how about Kendall Donnerson as a possible replacement ? Although he is an OLB, the elite physical ability he has makes me wonder if he can play ILB with the kind of range and athleticism that few possess.

With Donnerson, it would all be about the 6 inches between his ears. I'm not saying he is stupid or anything, just that it is tough to learn something new at this level. He is in fact, my choice of break out player this year, at first on ST, then later.....who knows. It's high time one of these high RAS, late pick guys comes good, a sort of reverse Kofi Amichia.
