Excellent article. I liked all the possible scenarios. My favorite scenario was the one trading down to get seven picks beginning with Edgerrin Cooper. Next, I liked the one receiving Denver's number one next year. Third was the one beginning with Cooper De Jean.

WD I went a step farther with Andy’s trade idea love the Denver trade as it gives gb 2- firsts in 25 when the draft is in gb , also traded with Washington 25 for 37 plus 67 still got guyton, colson or hicks at 58 than hicks or bishop at 67 still can get either a rb , dl, oline or cb with 88 and 91 . Just thought it was another neat idea

The trade down scenario was definitely my favorite.

The Packers have 71 players under contract currently. Not all of them are probably going to be here through camp, but that is more than the 62 prior to the 2023 draft.
However, it means that we need to fill 20 positions to complete the initial 91 (because one is a bonus overseas pathway exemption). Therefore we can easily pick all our picks and use them to elevate our active roster and PS. That’s even allowing for an extra punter and LS, leaving 18.
We have the ability to trade a pick or two certainly, but it’s a fallacy that we can’t use all the picks productively this year. As a result such trades need to be carefully balanced to ensure that the value is real.

14 picks. All potentially improve us now, provide extra competition. Not all will work, but all give us interesting battles to get a better overall roster. Still need 6 UDDA/SFAs

Used DraftBuzz for this one, and most of it isn't outrageous:
PICK: 25 RND: 1 Cooper DEJEAN CB Iowa
PICK: 41 RND: 2 Edgerrin COOPER LB Texas A&M
PICK: 58 RND: 2 Kingsley SUAMATAIA OT BYU I don't think he drops to here, but MAYBE
PICK: 88 RND: 3 Michael HALL JR. DT Ohio State I wanted a LB or S but they were gone
PICK: 91 RND: 3 Cole BISHOP S Utah
PICK: 126 RND: 4 Mason MCCORMICK OT South Dakota State
PICK: 169 RND: 5 Brandon COLEMAN OL TCU Unlikely to last to here, great value
PICK: 202 RND: 6 Trevin WALLACE LB Kentucky Very good value
PICK: 219 RND: 6 JD BERTRAND LB Notre Dame BPA
PICK: 245 RND: 7 George HOLANI RB Boise State
PICK: 255 RND: 7 Carson STEELE RB UCLA
I'll reiterate my belief that we are BEST OFF if we don't take a RB until the 7th round. We have our starter and two good backups already on the team. Holani competes for the #3 spot and Steele competes for DeGuara's old job.

Not sure why he took Puni in multiple drafts. Puni has two strikes against him; he's old and he needs a lot of technique work. You'd like to see a 6th year guy be polished and ready to play but he isn't. I could see Gutey have an interest in round 5 but I seriously doubt he'd be a day 2 consideration.

Agreed. He is a project. I don’t get it either.

The 1st draft looked the best in the players picked and where they would be picked closer to reality. I'd like to trade down a bit but the first draft would be sweet.

For me,.....
25 IOL Barton or Powers-Johnson
41 ILB Cooper (for coverage skills)
58 OT Amegadjie
88 S Hicks, Bishop, or Bullock
91 RB Corum
126 ILB Eichenberg (for the Mike position)
or:
Trade 25 and a third rounder to move up to 19/20 for CB Quinyon Mitchell
41 IOL Barton or JPJ if still there. If not, look for S Bullard here, then IOL Haynes at 58, ILB Trotter (coverage ILB) at 91 and ILB Eichenberg (Mike ILB) at 126.
58 ILB Colson
91 S Bishop
126 slot CB J.Jones
or perhaps my favourite:
25 CB/S DeJean
41 C/G Powers-Johnson or C/G/T Barton
58 OT Amegadjie
88 S Hicks
91 ILB Trotter
126 ILB Eichenberg
169 RB Laube
