Coaches say, "I'm here to put my players in a position to succeed." So, are we all looking for coaches to move Jenkins to the LG position at which he succeeds? And Nyman to where he succeeds (on the football field... namely RT)? Let them practice there (and practice, and practice, and practice). Let them play there. Or, if we truly want players to move to numerous positions at any time, why not put Aaron Rogers at RT and try Devante Wyatt at QB?

Andy is right about the play of the OL; there as been a regression so far this season. Neumann has really fallen off this season and Hanson has no business on the field. Jenkins is either still working through his injury or RT is not a position he excels in. They need to fix the OL, where there is talent on the bench.

It seems the defense in my opinion is ok, if the offense can move the ball and score some points. In my opinion it would go a way if they could get the OL playing better.

Andy- I want to commend you on your spot-on analysis! I have been concerned and have written a number of times in Cheesehead forums about our wide receiver line up since training camp. I did not see it as this bad but worried. As you said, we had no one to replace Adams. We were banking on Cobbs and Watkins, two over the hill receivers who are injury prone to be major pieces. They are fine player but complementary players. And sure enough both are already injured which I knew would happen at some point. Lazard is a fine # 2 or 3 receiver but not a # 1. Then we were counting on two rookies to come in to also be pieces which they are but you can't rely on rookies just a big crap shoot there. They are the future but not now as you said. I was hopeful we would get back to using our TE more and hopefully we are seeing that starting. But, there is no creativity at all at this point on the offensive side. Without the blocking it will be tough sledding for sure. Also, their offensive is so predictable and no one is afraid of us right now. It's a copy cat league and teams have the blue print to beat us now. I hope we can get the ship corrected but, man, I really have my doubts. This is just not the R-E-L-A-X sort of team. GPG!

Andy is correct that the offensive line has been playing worse so far this season. This season, Neumann has significantly regressed, and Hanson has no place on the field. Jenkins is still recovering from his injury, or RT is not his strongest position. The offensive line needs to be fixed since there is talent there.
