If you aren't getting much in talent evaluation from Family Night, you really aren't watching it properly. There is always going to be some play that doesn't optimize well because there is no contact, but WR's and CB's are still running routes and jumping balls, QB's are still throwing balls and stepping into throws, etc. You should be able to gather where guys are from a fundamentals standpoint at the very least. There really wasn't a whole lot of information in this podcast, but since you didn't watch Family Night it would be hard to come up with information.

Thanks for lecturing everyone on how we should be watching Family Night. Could you please publish, drawing on your vast experience, a synopsis of the specific technical aspects that we should be looking for?

Jonathan, I haven't listened to it.

I dislike know-it-alls like Drafthobbyist criticizing the guys who are working hard to put out a product. If Hobbyist thinks that he can do it better, then he needs to put the work in to publish his own podcast.
