4th and 2 on your 33 yd line ....decision info;
Faith in defense to hold opponent to FG if failure...none.
Faith in QB to use the run (Jones) and not change out to deep pass..none.
Faith in QB to score TD if defense holds to FG on failed 4th down attempt...diminished.
Evidence to prove punt was correct;
Defense looked worse than a sieve after punt.
QB tossed a 6 yd out pass 3 yds short to force 4th and 2 decision.
QB ego will not allow other to be hero.
QB retains his fall guy, MM...Cris Carter thinking
Evidence against QB;
" The ball stuck in my hand."
Yes folks, our QB, the assumed GOAT has fallen to mediocre level QB explanations/excuses, since there was no way he could say it was his...knee.

I think the primary problem is the split leadership between MM and AR. You can only have one leader at a time. Like it or not MM is the present HC and he should be the one setting the tone. AR just isn't a very good follower when he disagrees with the leaders decisions or philosophy. It should be incumbent on AR to set an example and the team will follow. Just won't work otherwise.

I’m going MM and AR too.
And I’m pretty sure I know which one won’t be back next season.

It's a Joint Collaboration Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers! And don't forget the usual suspects bad officiating, copious injuries, Ron Zook ...Wait I'll throw in Joe Buck for good measure too!

At 4:32 left and you have the lead practically the whole game and you can't pull ahead I knew we would lose by one or two points or go into overtime and would go either way.
This type of game is the worst as a PACKER FANS. Winning most of the game and then lose in the end. SO, YOU HAVE TO MAKE A MOVE. You have to do something different. A trick play, go for it on 4th and 2 something, because if you don't you will lose. Your defense was exausted! You had to go for it on 4th and 2! But, you didn't so you lost.

Gute: Performance comes First. He liked the way this team was progressing. This doesn't sound like he's displeased with MM. Especially since so many called for his firing. MM stressed opportunity before the patriots game. But yet every game in football has plays, or decisions , that have a fan saying why. Is MMs seat hot, or is it a figment of your imaginations. The players are giving it their all. If performance comes first, isn't A-Rod to blame more than MM? And how can any coach be happy with Crosby. His opportunity has been less than stellar. This team does have needs. The coaching isn't one of them.

It rests squarely with the HC...he thinks he's an offensive play calling guru...but I haven't seen it for years now! You would think he'd have been smart enough to let AR call his own plays...his lack of attention to the SP and DEF as well as his inability to manage a game have become glaringly clear.

I've been saying this very same thing now for a few years myself.

I am not sure how anyone could have watched Jones playing in the first half and us winning then watch Jones disappear, not get a single 3rd and short carry in the second half and not see COACHING is exactly the issue.
Not just the decision to punt but the PROCESS to decide....it is a nightmare. Listen to MM blather about his thinking about 4th down PRIOR to 3rd down.
That is not coaching it is metric managment and when the answer to a press conference question on the decision to punt is "I HAVE TO REVIEW MY REPORT" you have the wrong guy.

Roflmao
The NE offense is NOT BB?
Have you ever watched a football game?
The bears were the only team to know the dallas defense under Jimmy J was not due to JJ it was due to Davey boy W. I see you would be happy in Chicago.
Not wasting anymore time on this. Watch a game, break down the play with Jones in the flat, watch where Rodgers looks and KNOW the progression, give up your passive aggressive nonsense

Get Murphy out of the football order !! Let the GM do his job he shouldn't have to answer to Murphy that's crazy ! The team should be built by the GM with coach having some influence obviously . Let the GM do his job and don keep looking over his shoulder . And spend some dam money !!
