What are those formations, and what the hell is a "tele"?

It's the formation that MM used at the beginning of the year when Barbre was basically a turnstile.

This was the year the Chicago Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers merged because of the war. They were known as Card-Pitt. They went 0-10 and played the Packers twice.

Thanks for posting this Aaron. Its great to see the greatest Packer ever on old films.

Very cool!

They looked really synchronized getting in position and setting for that brief instant before the snap. I've never seen footage from that era before. Thanks for posting, Aaron!
