An absolutely critical win when this team had to have it. QB played great. Decisive, accurate throws down the heart of the defense. Wicks and Watson played great as well. The coaching was aggressive and willing to take it to the Lions. None of that conversative play calling we had against the Vikings and Eagles. If we want to win the NFC North this year and in the playoffs, let JL10 take us there. He has what it takes.

Gut Reaction: THANKFUL !
Thankful for another division win.
Thankful we finally saw the Packers play strong for 4 quarters.
Thankful Jordo shook off a shaky start and had a very good outing.
Thankful for Micha Parsons and the defense. With that said our DBs need to get better dialed in, I felt some erosion setting in as big plays started to beat them.
Thankful for the second win sweeping the Lions in their sandbox.
Thankful for a GREAT Thanksgiving watching the BEST Fan's sports team in the world.

It's now officially Bear week (albeit in 10 days) at home. Let's rub their nose in it. (For this week, go eagles...)

Packers won, and looked good doing it.
Was it perfect? Of course not.
The NFL is hard, and we’ll take the W. Beat the Lions twice this season.

Feeding Wicks is a good thing to get him in a rhythm. Parsons and Wicks hopefully enjoying turkey.

Refs... after the non-call on Watson for PI and to call the cheap illegal contact on 3rd and 15. Didn't cost us, but makes you go hmmm.

Two non-calls for PI on Watson. The 1st one Branch knocked him on his butt at the goal line.

The same ref that didn't make that call ignored when Cooper got shoved in the back for four yards into another Lion on the play he got hurt. Glad it wasn't serious. Valentine also hooked on the same play, when Gibb turned 2nd and 15 into 3rd and short. That really makes you go hmmm.

First off, happy thanks giving all! Made better by feeding the lions a heap of crow Well coached, Love in control, wide receivers getting it done, defense absolutely ferocious( anyone out there still think we gave up too much for parsons??), offensive line looked like its really starting to jell. Only negative ? The loss of Wyatt. That injury looked pretty damn serious. I suspect his season is likely done, which really sucks. Next man up I guess. On. to the Bears!! GO PACK GO!!

A great win over a mighty division rival on the road on a short week.

Hell of a block by Josh Whyle on Hutchinson on the third down conversion to Watson on the final drive. Did Aiden take the day off or did our OL not allow a sack today?

I’m baffled by how the inbred collection of unaccountable mouth breathers at 1265 have somehow overcome a slide into the basement of the NFC North (forever!) by winning the last two games over clearly superior opponents and organizations. Detroit and Minnesota had established dynasties where on-field success stemmed from complete alignment and shared vision, all the way from powerful owner to GM through scouting staff. Said dynasties were built while the simple, dumpster fire-watching, content-with-mediocrity Packers built a sledding hill, made lousy draft choices, signed incompetent free agents, handed a huge salary (that will keep us in Cap Hell for 10 years!) to an unproven QB with poor fundamentals, and wouldn’t fire a coach without GRIT. How can this be possible?

Regarding Carrington Valentine and his inability to wrap-up when tackling, we really can’t be too hard on the kid. As a boy, his mother suffered from undiagnosed bunions, and when he would rush toward her for a hug, she would recoil, never allowing him to wrap his arms around her. True, player personnel should have picked up on this idiosyncrasy and someone should be held accountable (maybe even fired), but my sense is he feels badly, so let’s let it slide.

Dan Campbell was out Dan Campbelled in his own house. How’s that for Grit? I hope the Packers next HC looks as tough as Dan Campbell.

Perhaps this team is finding its identity.

So, after the Bears lose tomorrow, how will those NFC North standings look?

Defense was quite impressive. Wow...how long has it been since the D set the tone for the team, AND the special teams was a plus?

I was impressed with MLF game strategy....as he planned around Lions and their particular vulnerabilities. However, just because packer converted the first of their 4th down attempts, I thought it a high risk, and uncecessary gamble to go for a deep strike down the sideline. Only 3 yards were needed. Fans would have been all over MLF had it failed. Though it was successful, I thought it a poor risk/reward gamble. Otherwise...great game by packers on the big stage! I was so critical of packers in big games. I tip my respects, indeed.

Must confess I had this game as an L first thing this season. Glad I was wrong.
One of the best parts of this game was watching Campbell shoot himself in the foot TWICE on 4th and short. And then, US converting on 4th /short to end the game.
Those who live by 4th and short, sometimes die by 4th and short.

Packers had the Lions' number this year. Both games had the same kind of feel: Offensive line playing better. Kept the Lions' fronts in check. Packers took it to them and the Lions didn't have their "swagger" and at times looked like they didn't want to be playing this game.

1-0 this week.
Rest up, get healthy, gob smack the Bears in 10 days.

LaFleur going for it on that last 4th down sends a message to both your defense AND the offense that he believes in them. It's the bravest I can remember him.

Praise is deserved, he walked the walk today. He ate Campbell's lunch. Tomorrow at this time we're first in the NFC Central.

I have been very hard on MLF when justified. It’s time to praise MLF for calling an excellent game. He was aggressive and sharp. Credit where credit is due! Please keep it up! JL was sharp as was Watson and Wicks. Parsons is an absolute beast! Thanks Jerry!

I believe it was NitschkeFromTheGrave who mentioned it was great to see the Packers play 4 strong quarters. It's been a minute since we watched the Offense, Defense, and Special Teams ALL play 60 solid minutes.

I also have to say I liked the game MLF called. Like several others I haven't been crazy about LaFleur's play calling most of this season. Today I thought he did a hell of a job.

Impressive game against the Lions-my only question is what causes the big swings in production (during the first 3 months) from amazing to sleep-walking? Will they now play every game with this level of grit and intensity or will they return to inconsistency? It's been a roller-coaster ride. They are clearly able.

Wicks was clutch, Love is show-casing his talent and thank you, Micah-what heart. I'm surprised Tucker Kraft doesn't come to the games-perhaps he doesn't want to be a distraction.

Let’s imagine a hypothetical poster, one who constantly carps about the team and its fans and nevertheless expects them to concede to the poster’s wisdom. What’s more, when fans resist the poster’s narratives, the poster finds evidence of a grand conspiracy. I’m sure you agree that this hypothetical poster would have to be someone suffering from an outsized self-importance and sense of entitlement, not to mention paranoid delusions.

Strong, solid win against a division opponent on the road in a short week. The Packers had a great game when it was really needed. Props to the OL for getting it done today. Love, Watson and Wicks all made significant contributions. The defense led by Parsons was strong again and held off the Lions who came on strong in the second half.

Key point, the Packers never lost the lead in this game.

The teams looks like they are coming together at the right time. Now a mini-bye to rest up and prepare for the Bears at home. GPG! Thanks, Since '61

This makes two good games in a row for the O-line. The TV announced Jordan Morgan as a starter, and I don't think the announcers mentioned Anthony Belton all day. I don't think they gave the Packer O-line any credit, come to think of it. But those guys played a nice game.

The reliance on Christian Watson in key moments was another good carry-over from last week.

A few weeks ago, someone on here was telling me that Dontayvion Wicks was only slightly better than Malik Heath. Yeah, right.

This game might not have been so close if Carrington Valentine hadn't decided to play touch football when he could have tackled Jameson Williams just before halftime. It was a rough day overall for the secondary, partly because the pass rush dried up for long stretches. Thankfully, Micah Parsons provided enough pass rush on his own to stop the Lions.

That kind of injury screams broken leg or (even worse) dislocated ankle. We can take solace in the fact that they didn't have him in an air cast when they took him off the field.

It seems like there's been more of those kinds of injuries this year than in recent years.

Even if LVN is getting better (apparently he aggravated his injury in limited snaps last week) and Brooks is back, I think BG needs to be scouring practice squad rosters looking for a situational DL.
