Jaire Alexander and Romeo Doubs return to practice
Edgerrin Cooper and Corey Ballentine did not practice but were in attendeance.

With a huge match up with the Detroit Lions looming on Thursday night, the Packers were back on the practice field today.
The team displayed two very positive injury developments with both cornerback Jaire Alexander and wide receiver Romeo Doubs returning to practice.
Happy Football Wednesday.

Alexander missed both the 49ers and Dolphins games after only playing 10 snaps against the Bear while recovering from a knee ligament injury first suffered in the win over the Jaguars back in Week 8.
Doubs suffered a concussion during the Packers’ win over the 49ers, did not practice all last week prior to missing the win over the Dolphins. LaFleur indicated after practice that Doubs is still in the league's concussion protocol.
While the return to practice doesn't guarantee that the two will be available Thursday night in Detroit, it certainly starts the practice week off on a promising note for the possibility.

It would be very helpful to get both back, especially Alexander for Detroit. Hamstrings usually take awhile so I don't expect Cooper back for a few weeks yet. Morgan is on IR - has anyone heard a status report on him? The Packer O-line depth may be my biggest worry about this team.

Can anyone tell me what the practice schedule is for back-to-back Thursday games? Sunday to Thursday I know they just have walkthroughs. Don't know how the CBA effects these practices or when they travel for a close game.

It’s essentially the same as a normal week, but with the Friday masquerading as a normal Monday. Practices start on Saturday (Tuesday). They travel Wednesday afternoon I imagine. The off week was last week. The players are usually off for a long weekend after the game with a 10 day break.

Thanks, CW.
Was hoping there wasn't some kind of extra break worked in, as the O-line needs to keep getting crisper on their assignments.
The Ds legs after facing 70+ plays each game in the last 5 days could probably use a break.

Hope Jaime and dobs can play, its a tough match that we need to win. Unfortunately both az and the bears didn't do us a favour by beating the queens. Especially on thanksgiving, shit ! 2 fuck ups,1,qb didn't spike ball to save precious seconds with a chance to strike end zone, the demented hc on the side line dumbfounded! The wanker should have called to at last seconds fo a fg .so far the flower hasn't done this yet, but the flower does get outcoached against better coaches. I'm not convinced of the flower yet. What do most of you think of the flower? Offensive coordinator still, or possibly developing into hc? I want to see an aggressive team that demolished its opponents like knoll,Lombardi etc! Ofcourse those coaches are longer in today's nfl !the flower has to show discipline, all these fucking stupid penalties every week, the packers are one of the most penalised in nfl. The flower has to step up!

I gave you a thumbs up for saying "flower" 4 times, saying the word "wanker", and spelling "favour", and misspelling Chuck Noll and comparing him with Lombardi from a different era and even adding "etc." All in the same paragraph. Perhaps you are a newer NFL fan from from Europe? Welcome.

I don’t have a lot of confidence that Jaire will play a significant # of snaps, if he plays at all? I sure hope Cooper plays but I was surprised how well McDuffie played being so banged up. We need our best players for the Lions!
