Odenibo from the Vikings was available , went to the Giants for 2.5 , he would have been the second best D lineman on the Packers after Clark.

There are still a ton of FA and draft DLs available who automatically slot in as the second best DL behind Clark. It's a sad commentary on the Packers' DL depth more than anything else.

Gute is not going all in so forget it. The better shopping plan is to trade Rodgers now. Why make Rodgers suffer for Love?

Supposedly the Bears are releasing CB Kyle Fuller and are allowing Akiem Hicks to seek a trade.
Gutey needs to seriously pursuit a trade for Hicks and if they haven't cut Fuller yet have them throw him in on the deal. I would give up a 3rd and a 6th or 7th for both guys then sign both to new contracts.
To cover those new contracts I would sign both Adams and Rodgers to extentions trying to stagger the big cap hits for all 4 over the next few years. With the new TV money assured the money is there to borrow from future caps.
I can dream can't I?

That would be perfect fits for this D and would make us a formidable force . Hicks and Clark in the middle , dominating!
