The NFL hates football. - That said, the Packers died of self-inflicted wounds today.
- Jaire Alexander is a player.
- You can not roll out Kyler Fackrell with the game on the line and expect to be taken seriously.
- Way too many 3rd and long situations on offense. The Packer struggle with those when Rodgers is healthy, let alone on one leg.
- The holding call on Lane Taylor was atrocious.
- As was the roughing call on Matthews.
- The running game was a pleasant surprise when McCarthy wasn't ignoring it.
- And yes, I'm sorry, but the Packers had to overcome the refs and their coach today and just couldn't do it.
- After the Clinton-Dix interception, just run the damn ball.
- I love the Jamaal Williams shimmy after he picks up a first down.
- Davante Adams is a bad man after the catch.
- The Vikings kicker just missed another field goal.
- Mason Crosby is a weapon. Tough miss at the end of regulation but still a hell of a day.
- Geronimo Allison is turning into a really solid player.
- I hate ties.
- I need a drink.
- Go Pack.

1. The refs sucked all game and they did cost a win.
2. Our safeties really really suck!
3. Defense has already improved over last year and will get better.
4. No excuse for not running the ball again in OT after Williams run...then the sack WTF? with the play calling?

They had a really good play called and AR fumbled it on 2nd down. Just one of the many things that went wrong late.

The TKstinator, Yes, last year at 70. My wife with me. She's pretty sick right now. She's 71 on here. Thought I lost her last month. Worst feeling since my son died at 21. It hasn't been all Wins.

LVT, I think your expertise on gambling is officially needed here this week to explain exactly what happened and why. You are probably the only guy here who "gets it" if in fact the gambling theory was in play in this game. I don't gamble but I here you talk alot about it. Based on how the refs acted in this game it makes a guy like me wonder if in fact some of these games are fixed.

There is no explanation....everybody in Vegas bet on Minnesota. Even some of our own writers here were thinking Minnesota would win handily with their “ great defense” .....and the officials were further trying to perpetuate....Easy.

Of course I met Ellie Mae. We worked together for years. One of the hottest women in Hollywood. So beautiful and so innocent. Those were the days 4th and 1. Much better than a tie.

Dash Riprock, I could explain exactly what happened in this game, but no one would believe me. This game actually had me puzzled, because there was no line all week. I can't see a game without a line. If I told you what happened here, I would be laughed at, so I'm No Longer giving my opinion on the NFL. I will say this for the 100th time on this Post. Las Vegas wins each & every week. If you think the calls by the Refs, were just simple mistakes, No one will ever convince you otherwise.
I could have won 4 or 5 games today. I only bet 1. $100 on the Hardest game on the board. I took Jacksonville over The Pats. I told 4thand1 not to take GB -1. & I told Jon Spader to take all 3 of his bets the other way. 2 have lost, & the 3rd one is losing, but the game isn't over yet.
Yes, the Refs got involved in this game, but this was a rare one. Usually it's not so obvious. If you don't think the Refs controlled the outcome of this game, nothing will ever change your mind. I'll tell you this: They did their best to have MINN COVER. That's what they wanted. They couldn't get past 3 missed FG's.
I'm not privy to the information I wish I could get, so I can't prove anything I'm telling you. I've been doing this a long time, & I learned a long time ago to play with the house, NOT AGAINST THE HOUSE. Most Betters Bet Wrong. The line is designed to get you to bet wrong, so Refs don't control the games. They automatically go the way Las Vegas wants them to go. Every now & then a Big Money Game goes the wrong way. You've all seen it many times when a flag determines the outcome of one of the betting interests. 1st Half, 2ond Half, The Game, The Over, The Under, or The Money Line.
To Close: I'll say again, Gambling Controls the outcome of probably every game, every week. Las Vegas DOES NOT LOSE. If you don't want to believe that, that's fine. I can't prove anything. But I've made a lot of money going the wrong way.
1 more thing. Don't believe the idiots that tell you Vegas tries to even out betting & just takes the Juice. Vegas, with their line gets the money to go to the side they want. How they do this, I don't know. If you don't believe it, I don't care.
Now that the Supreme Court has Legalized Sports Betting, I would suggest you go out & buy Wayne Roots latest book on Sports Betting. He's the guy that taught me how to bet. Don't ask me to pick any games. I don't have time for it, & I'm not as good as I used to be.

Thanks for the response. You really went all out. As I said I never gambled and never paid attention to "the line" in my life. I was talking to my brother tonight about this game and mentioned you and he agrees with you. He also lived in Vegas for a while so he knows more than I do about gambling.
This game was one of the most disappointing games I ever watched because of those blatent calls by the refs. They certainly did do their best to have MN "cover". This game reminded me of that old movie starring Burt Reynolds The Longest Yard where he was forced to f up so the guards would win.
Anyway, will start to pay more attention to the betting aspect going forward but I have to say I don't like what I am seeing if this continues.

Sucks that I couldn't watch the game, but listening it was pretty exciting. Sounds like the refs really sucked. That really sucks, but I'm still disturbed by all the fans that were giving the Vikings the win before the game even started (you know who you are and your comments are on record). If the refs stole the game from the Packers (which it sounds like) why are all the supposed Packer fans who picked the Vikings to win even complaining? I'll take the tie over a loss any day, because the NEXT game we will kick their purple butts!

Equally bad with the calls that have been mentioned was the fact that there were so many flipping Viking fans in the stands. Common guys, don’t sell your tix to the worst fan base in the history of time. The good news is that this only happens ever 20 years or so when enough jump on the bandwagon for the short trip to No Super Bowl Land. The tie was better than a loss but I so wanted them to go home sad today.

I really hate to see people playing MM play calling after HHCD interception he did what we all have been asking him to do and now we need to stick by it. If he had gotten conservative y’all would be complaining he went for the dagger which is what you should do against an opponent like that. Yes the defense gave up a lot of yards in the 4th but damn they held the fort for 3q and the offense kept stalling in the redzone we can’t fully blame the def on this one. That BS call with CM3 ended up being the deciding factor in what should have been another game clinching TO for the def.

I am still in shock!! Taylor had a beautiful pancake block.........Holding??? Clay pretty much gave Cousins a kiss and hug........Roughing the Passer?????? Mike Daniels literally lets go of the quarterback instead of taking him down for a sack.....HUH????? Am I dreaming???Will somebody please wake me up!!!! Oh......and Davon House is no match for Diggs.......I was watching football right?? I wonder how much each ref made on their bets on the game????? Haha.....Sigh.

While I wasn't thrilled with the result, it could have been worse.
They are co-leaders of the NFC north and have shown that they can compete --> only officiating stopped them from being legit 2-0.
By and large I thought that the D showed promise, which is really good against a tough opponent (especially this early for the rookies).

1 MM has a really bad habit of 'gutless playcalling' with 2:00 left; instead of attacking the endzone to put the game away, he settles for a fg. This time, as in others, it comes back to bite him in the butt!
Also, it's time to keep #93 on the field, especially to rush! Matthews has slowed up; maybe time to play Middle backer.
Finally... isn't there ANYBODY else besides House??? Pass coverage (whatever there was!) sucked! Not better than last year.
