Packers Predictions

• Jamaal Williams puts up his first career 80+ yard performance – The Ravens have allowed the third most rushing yards to opposing running backs this season and Williams is in line for a heavy workload. Even if Montgomery is able to play, I expect Williams to shine in this one.
• Brett Hundley commits multiple turnovers – Baltimore is third in the league in takeaways and first in interceptions. Unlike the Bears, the Ravens will make Hundley pay for his mistakes.
• Lance Kendricks totals 60 yards for the first time this year – Other than the Jaguars, no team has been tougher on outside receivers than the Ravens. This could be a game where the Packers make the middle of the field a focal point on offense, which could lead to an increase in Kendricks’ production.

Likes

• Alex Smith – Alex Smith is the QB3 thus far in 2017 and he faces a Giants defense that has allowed more than 20 points to five of the last six quarterbacks they have faced.
• Drew Brees – The Redskins have allowed more than 23 points to each of the last three quarterbacks they have gone up against on the road. Brees is no longer a set-and-forget QB1, but he should finish inside the top 12 this week.
• Melvin Gordon – Gordon has rushed for under 40 yards in two of his last three games but he’s going up against a Bills run defense that has been the worst in the league since they traded Marcell Dareus.
• Jay Ajayi – Dallas has actually sported an adequate run defense this year, but they will be without top linebacker Sean Lee. Ajayi should see a sizable workload.
• Sterling Shepard – Seemingly the only healthy receiver for the Giants, Shepard is in line for a heavy workload for the rest of the season. This week he matches up with a Chiefs defense that has allowed over 1,600 yards and 15 touchdowns to receivers in 2017.
• Devante Parker – Parker has scored 12.5 or more PPR points in every healthy game this season. He gets a juicy matchup this week against a Buccaneers secondary that has allowed the fourth most points to opposing receivers.
• Tyler Kroft – Kroft had just one reception for four yards in week 10, but he should rebound against a Broncos defense that has allowed the second most points to the tight end position.
• Cameron Brate – Brate has only two receptions over his last two games, but he’s in a good position to get back on track against a Dolphins secondary that has struggled with tight ends this year. He’s a high-ceiling, low-floor option.

Other likes: Eli Manning vs. KC, Blake Bortles @ CLE, Blaine Gabbert @ HOU (if he starts), Doug Martin @ MIA, Jordan Howard vs. DET, Amari Cooper vs. NE, Larry Fitzgerald @ HOU.

Dislikes

• Marcus Mariota – Mariota has yet to score 20 this season, and no quarterback has posted more than 15.6 against the Steelers since week 1.
• Matthew Stafford – The Bears have held seven of the last eight quarterbacks they have faced to under 15 points, the exception being Aaron Rodgers in week 4.
• Adrian Peterson – Given his workload, there’s a slight chance that Peterson will put up a respectable yardage total, but don’t expect him to score as the Texans have not allowed a rushing touchdown since week 1.
• Alfred Morris – The Eagles have allowed just 42.5 rushing yards per game, which is fewer than any team in the league.
• DeAndre Hopkins – The Cardinals have been generous to opposing receivers, but not to those matched up with Patrick Peterson.
• Jordy Nelson – Jordy has just eight receptions for 65 yards over the last three games, and things won’t get any easier against a stingy Ravens secondary.
• Delanie Walker – Only the Chargers and Packers have allowed fewer points to tight ends than the Steelers. Walker does not have a receiving touchdown this year, and that’s unlikely to change this week.
• Charles Clay – The only tight end to reach the end zone against the Chargers was Rob Gronkowski in week 8. Clay is still being integrated back into the Bills offense, and this is not the week to start him.
