The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed tight end/h-back Gijon Robinson, Phillip Wilson of the Indianapolis Star reports.

Signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri Western State in 2007, Robinson (6-1, 255) started 24 of 29 games for the Colts between 2008-10, catching 28 passes for 228 yards.

Robinson appeared in one of three games with the Colts at the start of the season, but was released on September 29 when a linebacker shortage prompted them to re-sign Tyjuan Hagler.
