Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports the Tennessee Titans filed a lawsuit on Monday against the University of Southern California and Lane Kiffin, their head coach, who lured running backs Kennedy Pola into accepting the Trojans offensive coordinator position over the weekend.

Per Wyatt's report, the lawsuit claims that Kiffin "maliciously" interfered with Pola, who is in breach of contract, which states that he would "not under any circumstance solicit discussions or entertain employment with any other person or entity during the term without given written permission to do so".

The Titans intend to prove in Davidson County Chancery Court that "as a result of USC and Kiffin’s tortuous conduct, Tennessee (Titans) football has been damaged in an amount proven at trial."
