Vince Young Hopes to Avoid Suspension

Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young apologized to his teammates for his involvement in a brawl inside a Dallas strip club on Sunday morning.

"I apologized to my teammates and I apologized to my coaching staff, as well as the organization," Young said on Monday. "Those guys respect me for doing that. They understand how it is out there, off the field stuff. It was something I regret that I did, but at the same time I’m moving on from that."

Young also hopes to avoid a suspension.

"I pray to God that (NFL Commissioner) Roger Goodell doesn’t come down hard on me, because I definitely want to be here for my teammates," Young said.

"I made a mistake, and I’m going to own up to my mistakes," said Young. "Whatever happens, I pray to God they don’t suspend me or anything like that. You just have to go from there."

While Young talks about owning up to his mistakes, he still managed to blame a friend for talking him into going to the strip club in the first place, which makes it difficult to take anything Young is saying right now seriously.
