Titans TE Bo Scaife Expected to Attend OTAs

Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports that Tennessee Titans tight end Bo Scaife is expected to attend the team's "Organized Team Activity" sessions, which are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday of this week.

Scaife, who is still seeking a long-term contract, had been staying away from the team's off-season workout program.

After playing the 2009 season under the one-year franchise tag, rules regulating the NFL's uncapped year kept Scaife from becoming an unrestricted free agent this off-season. The Titans opted to use the "First Round" restricted free agent tender, which will pay Scaife a $4.908 million dollar base salary in 2010, 110% of what he earned last season under the franchise tag.

In 76 career games since being chosen in the sixth-round (179th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft, the former Texas Longhorn has 215 receptions for 2,065 yards and 8 touchdowns. Last season, Scaife caught 45 passes for 440 yards and a touchdown.
