Titans Agree to Terms With 4th Round CB Alterraun Verner

The Tennessee Titans announced that they have agreed to terms with fourth-round cornerback Alterraun Verner and sixth-round safety Myron Rolle.

Terms were not disclosed.

Verner was a three-year starter at UCLA, totaling 279 tackles, 13 interceptions, and 56 pass break-ups. Verner returned four of his interceptions for touchdowns, and added another score off of a blocked field goal last season against San Diego State. Verner was a three-time all-Pac 10 selection, earning first-team honors after last season.

The Titans traded up to selected Verner, dealing restricted free agents LenDale White and Kevin Vickerson to the Seattle Seahawks to move up in the fourth- and sixth-rounds of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Verner is expected to compete with Ryan Mouton and Tye Hill for the Titans' nickel cornerback role this season.
