Seven Browns Practice Squad Players Sign Futures Contracts

Seven of the eight-man Cleveland Browns practice squad at the end of the season have signed "Reserve/Futures" contracts with the team, a league source confirmed on Wednesday.

Offensive tackles Phil Trautwein and Branndon Braxton, guard Pat Murray, tight end Tyson DeVree, fullback Tyler Clutts and running back Quinn Porter were joined by defensive back DeAngelo Smith in signing contracts with the Browns, who are conducting a search for their next head coach.

Trautwein, Braxton, and Murray have been with the Browns since the 2009 season.

Practice squad defensive end Erik Bahktiari has not yet re-upped with the Browns.
