Seahawks QBs Coach Jedd Fisch Heads to the "U"

Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch will be the next offensive coordinator at the University of Miami, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Fisch joined Pete Carroll's coaching staff last February after one season as the offensive coordinator at the University of Minnesota.

Prior to his stint with the Gophers, Fisch coached receivers for one season with the Denver Broncos, where he worked with Seahawks offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates, and spent four seasons as an offensive assistant with the Baltimore Ravens and three seasons with the Houston Texans.

Fisch is a University of Florida graduate who worked under Steve Spurrier as a graduate assistant in 1999-2000.

Fisch will be the second Seahawks assistant coach to depart for the college coaching ranks, with defensive line coach Dan Quinn leaving after the playoffs to coordinate Florida's defense.
