Seahawks Agree to Terms With 4th Round DE E.J. Wilson

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms on a four-year deal with fourth-round defensive E.J. Wilson.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

A three-year starter at the University of North Carolina, Wilson finished his college career with 144 tackles, including 29 for a loss, and 12 quarterback sacks.

Stout against the run, the 6-2, 286-pound Wilson is expected to rotate with 2008 first-round defensive end Lawrence Jackson as the strong-side defensive end on the Seahawks’ defensive line. Wilson also possesses enough quickness and athleticism to slide inside and rush the quarterback from the “3” technique tackle position on passing downs.

Wilson is the fifth of the Seahawks' nine-player draft class to agree to terms or sign a contract.
