Rams RB Steven Jackson Says He's Playing on Sunday

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson declared himself a go for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.

Jackson had two pins inserted in his fractured left ring finger earlier this week.

The NFL's 5th-leading rusher with 617 yards, Jackson bring a three-game 100+-yard rushing streak into Sunday's game against the Panthers, whose defense ranks 24th against the run and is two weeks removed from allowing the Bears to rack up 218 yards on the ground.

In other Rams injury news, left tackle Jason Smith left today's practice after he was a "little fuzzy" following a helmet-to-helmet collision with defensive end Chris Long.
