St. Louis Rams restricted free agent defensive lineman Clifton Ryan has signed his one-year tender, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The Rams chose the former Michigan State Spartan in the fifth-round (154th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft. Ryan has appeared in all 48 games for the Rams the last three seasons, starting 27 games and totaling 103 tackles and three quarterback sacks.

Not eligible for unrestricted free agency, Ryan was tendered at the "Second Round" level, and will earn $1.684 million dollars in 2010.
