Patriots DB Bret Lockett Arrested For Disorderly Conduct

New England Patriots defensive back Bret Lockett was arrested in Providence, Rhode Island last night, Christoper Price of WEEI.com reports.

Lockett was charged with disorderly conduct and failure to move. Lockett has been released from custody with a court date set for next month.

The 6-2, 205-pound Lockett entered the NFL with the Cleveland Browns, who signed him as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA last May. After posting nine tackles for the Browns during the pre-season before being waived and claimed by the Patriots. Lockett totaled 7 tackles and a forced fumble, mostly while playing on the Patriots' special teams units before being placed on injured reserve with a groin injury.

Lockett was placed on injured reserve on August 31 with a torn pectoral muscle.
