Pat Watkins to Visit the Bengals

Free agent safety Pat Watkins visited the Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday, reports Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network.

Watkins (6-5, 218) was released by the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday.

A fifth-round pick (138th overall) out of Florida State in 2006, Watkins has totaled 122 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 7 passes defensed during his 49-game career with the Cowboys, and was tendered at the "Original Round" level as a restricted free agent this off-season.

Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer was coordinating the Cowboys' defense when Watkins was drafted.
