Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams Doesn't Make Trip to St. Louis

Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams and wide receiver Devin Thomas have been downgraded to "out" for tomorrow's game against the St. Louis Rams.

Darin Gantt of the Charlotte Observer reports that neither player accompanied the team on their flight to St. Louis on Saturday.

With Williams out, Jonathan Stewart and Mike Goodson will handle the rushing load for the Panthers. Stewart, one of the team's first-round picks in 2008, has 148 yards on 50 carries this season, while Goodson has six carries for 20 yards.
