No Contract Talks Between Eagles, Michael Vick

The Philadelphia Eagles have not engaged in contract talks with quarterback Michael Vick, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

McLane adds that the team is expected to make it's decisions about the futures of all players, including Vick, in the coming weeks.

Vick is earning $3.75 million in the final year of a two-year contract signed in August of 2009.

In five games this season, including four starts, Vick has completed 60.8% of his 125 pass attempts for 1,017 yards with 7 touchdowns and no interceptions, compiling an NFL-best 105.3 passer rating. The 30-year old quarterback is second on the team in rushing with 261 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The Eagles are 3-1 in games Vick starts, with the one defeat occurring when Vick suffered a rib cartilage early in a 17-12 loss to the Washington Redskins.

Eagles quarterbacks Kevin Kolb and Mike Kafka are signed beyond this season, with Kolb--head coach Andy Reid's hand-picked successor to Donovan McNabb--scheduled to earn a $1.392 million base salary as part of a one-year, $12.25 million extension that included an $10.7 million signing bonus.
