Lions President Tom Lewand Pleads Guilty

Division rival executive was arrested for drunk driving last month.

Detroit Lions president Tom Lewand has plead guilty to operating while visibly impaired, Tim Twentyman of the Detroit News reports.

Lewand was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving on June 25, and registered blood-alcohol levels of .20 and .21 on the breathalyzer.

In addition to being subject to discipline under the NFL's personal conduct policy, Twentyman reports that Lewand received six months of probation and a $532 fine, and will be placed in an outpatient recovery program. Lewand is not permitted to consume alcohol as a term of his probation.
